a soldier's paycheck isn't that large, so unless you have inherited a large fortune, it's most likely that you live in one of these homes. nice and respectable, most of (if not all of) them are standard military issue and there isn't too much difference between them except for the decor - with a commonality being the stars in the windows for their soldiers to come home.

in case the name wasn't specific enough, here is where the corpsman (who are not marines, for the record) train to become medics in the field, and you'll be very thankful for this place later on if you're ever wounded in combat. not to mention, your navy nurses come here to train too - as well as the naval hospital.

here is where you go to test your skills with any number of weaponry made available for your combat use by the united states marine corps. you can go to the rifle range, the pistol range, carlos hathcock ii's legacy sniper range, or any number of weaponry test sites here. remember, safety at all times and don't get yourself killed.

here is where you get to test your 'special' skills - where something like stealth makes the difference between life and death. you also could be practicing amphibious assaults and beach landings - among other things - and otherwise something you just don't talk about with your wives and children.

welcome to the naval hospital, we'll try to make you feel brand new. the only hospital on usmc property, the naval hospital has some damn good doctors. proud to serve our country's marines and navy, you also can come here if you are a veteran or a family member of a servicemen.

if you feel the need to visit the chaplin for any reason - including just a prayer for prosperity and a safe return - you'll be coming here to see one of the many chaplins that are employed by the united states department of the navy. although not real priests (well, some are), they're as close as they could get in the military.

named after donald conroy - the basis for robert duvall's character in the film the great santini - this is where all arrivals and departures take place for the men and women who reside at camp lejeune. tears are almost always shed here - whether for joy or sorrow - and some of the most somber moments in a person's life occur here.
