viewing the visitors entrance, you would suspect that merck industries was just some plain old laboratory, testing lipstick on forlorn monkeys. the waiting room is drab, the receptionist plain. noting to arouse interest.

the research labs are where the experimental drugs are developed, as well as where the blood and other bodily fluids of the testing subjects are examined. certain labs are pressure locked, so you have to wear a lead-based body suit and be sanitized before entrance.

these rooms are where the subjects spend their days. the rooms of the projects that served as weapons have been converted to labs or other rooms for 'patients'.
