A long, beaky nosed lady peered over the shoulder of a young man in a room lit by candles. Turning around slowly, the young man rose an eyebrow. The woman quickly looked another way and began to walk in the same direction. Shaking his head, Camden turned back around to his reading. Madam Pince was a strange creature. Sighing, he read a few more lines before slamming the book shut. A noise escaped the "vulture" and a reproachful gaze in Apollo's direction soon followed. He abruptly stood up and threw the book aside, cast Madam Pince an annoyed look and then strode out of the library. How could one study in there when not only the book was boring, but the librarian was a hovering, anal stalker?

Finding himself wandering the corridors, Camden stopped and pondered for a moment on where to go. He could to the Slytherin Dungeons and continue his studies down there, or perhaps down to the kitchens for a bite to eat? No, neither sounded appealing. Suddenly a cloud moved from it's spot in the sky, revealing the shining sun. Squinting his eyes, he quickly decided it was a perfect day to relax by the lake. Camden's legs directed him to the ground floor of the school and onwards to the giant front doors. Glancing around him, he looked to see if there was anyone around to talk to before actually stepping outside. Seeing only a group of giggling first years, he rolled his eyes and pushed open the doors.

The Nott boy was welcomed with a crisp breeze that ruffled his dark golden locks. Surprisingly, it was quite refreshing and Camden was instantly glad he chose to go outdoors. Taking a deep breath on the steps of the castle, he let the sunshine and air flow through his system, making himself one with nature. Many would've felt ridiculously embarrassed by such an act, but not Camden. For he was adored by many and he knew it. He knew that all the girls would think he was "adorable" for wanting to be so close to nature. He could just hear them now. "Oh my goodness look at Camden, the sun's nothing compared to him!" Smirking with confidence, he set off towards the lake.

The ugly green lake actually looked somewhat decent today. The sun sparkled across the still water to produce shimmering diamonds. He couldn't look at it for more than maybe ten seconds. Looking around, he saw that there were many other students outside. It was quite strange, that others were there, for the grounds only made the sound of a faint whisper. It was quite relaxing and with the cold air, it felt clean. The only problem was the sun. If it could just dim it's light a bit, it would've been perfect.

He traveled down to the lake, where he found a nice path of grass and took a seat. He began to pick out some grass from the ground and began to throw it into the lake. He watched as they landed daintily on the surface of the water and were carried to the middle of the lake, where only god would know what happened to them.

Being couped up sucked to no end. Sitting alone in a dormitority. How odd. Especially when you're one of those people that don't sleep. It was odd that they still give you a bed and everything. Mila honestly didn't see the point. She didn't need sleep, she didn't need much. Life seemsed a little simpler now that she didn't need as many things as she did when she was mortal. One thing that never changed though was boredom. Mila always seemed to get bored easily. Getting up off of her four poster bed she walked over to the window and looked out onto the grounds. It was a nice day, well nice if you liked the sun shining on you every moment of the day. That was something that mila wasn't a fan of. She prefered the darkness and the cold weather. Not the sunny hot weahter. But she had to live with it. It's not like here at school she could just stay inside all day and wait for night. Well she could, but she'd probably throw a fit trying. She always needed something to keep her mind occupied and keep her mind off of everything else. Walking over to her trunk she opened it and pulled out a medium sized box. Opening it she took out one of the little flasks full of potion. If she wanted to go outside she had to drink it. Taking a large enough amount to last her the rest of the day Mila put the flask back and the box away. Now she was ready to go out, maybe someone or sonething could occupy her time.

Descending out of the seventh year girls dormitory Mila walked into the common room. Of course it was a deserted wasteland. True mortal Gryffindors loved to be outside on days like this. If Mila were exactly like them she would've gone out the second she was allowed to. Sighing lightly Mila walked out of the portrait hole and into the seventh floor corridor. It was exactly like the common room. Empty. Not a living soul in sight. Sure you could say Mila was living, but she sometimes didn't think so. She didn't need food, she needed blood; she didn't need to breath to survive; and she didn't need sleep. She wasn't normal. She was basically the living dead. She was a vampire. Plain and simple. Her feet carried her small frame through the halls and down numerous flights of stairs. Thinking nothing of what people were doing when she walked by a couple of students. Not really acknowledging any of them. It was either she didn't know them or she didn't know them well enough to care. It was one thing or the other. Honestly she really wasn't interested in staying inside the stone castle. It felt kind of like a prison at times. Then again it sometimes felt like a safe haven. It really depended on the kind of day that Mila was having. Today it felt more like a prison. Nothing to do. trapped inside. Well she was allowed out, but it never really interested her much. Today she was just sick of being inside so much.

Finally, she reached the final staircase, walking into the Entrance Hall. She stopped at the bottom of the stairase. She heard little whispering voices to the left of her. Her brown eyes shifted lightly. To no surprise there was a little gaggle of first years, Slytherins no doubt, that were whispering to each other while pointing and glancing at her. This was honestly nothing new to Mila. She was used to it, but it annoyed her every now and then. That people thought she didn't know they were talking about her. Stupid little rumors floating around the school. All of them different, but getting along to the same line. her being a vampire. People were just childish and immature, she would know. She was one hundred and sixty two years old. She knew all about the levels of immaturity of people. It was truly sad. To mess with the little gaggle of gossipers Mila turned her whole head to face them, her face rather uninviting towards them. One of them stared right at her and then turned qucikly, probably the leader of the little group because of the fact that she motioned for them to follow her when she quickly walked away. Fear in her little eyes. Mila rolled her own and just moved on with where she was going. Nothing else interesting her in the castle. She pushed open the large oak doors in front of her that led out of the castle and onto the castle grounds.

The second the doors opened Mila felt the cool breeze caress her soft cheeks. As she stepped forward into the sun her amber eyes closed shut for a few moments. She had to try and adjust to the light before actually looking around for somethign to interest her. Opening her eyes again she stepped farther out of the castle. HEr skin seemed to brighten a little. Her hair went from a rather dull gold color to more of a honey color and her eyes went from a light brown to an amber color. Everything seemed to change the second she stepped into the sun. She didn't complan, but she was never a fan of the warmth it gave her. At least the breeze would make it bearable for her. Walking down the few stone steps Mila stepped foot into the soft grass. Her amber eyes scanning the large expanse of grass. Looking for someone she knew, or wanted to talk to. Her eyes scanned once around before they settled on a familiar face, well the back of his head at least. At first she wasn't sure it was really him, but when he turned her head to the side a little bit she was sure. Camden Nott. The boy she had been crshing on for a little while. The mere mortal that gave her butterflies everytime she saw him or heard his soothing voice. She was very glad that Ira had introduced them to each other. Walking towards him she stopped next to him and looked down at the boy. "Hey Camden. Mind if I join you?" she asked him. Waiting for a reply before she sat, it was the polite thing to do.

She may be a Gryffindor, but she knew her manners she was taught them very young and they never seemed to fail her. Especially when it came to boys.
