A long, beaky nosed lady peered over the shoulder of a young man in a room lit by candles. Turning around slowly, the young man rose an eyebrow. The woman quickly looked another way and began to walk in the same direction. Shaking his head, Camden turned back around to his reading. Madam Pince was a strange creature. Sighing, he read a few more lines before slamming the book shut. A noise escaped the "vulture" and a reproachful gaze in Apollo's direction soon followed. He abruptly stood up and threw the book aside, cast Madam Pince an annoyed look and then strode out of the library. How could one study in there when not only the book was boring, but the librarian was a hovering, anal stalker?
Finding himself wandering the corridors, Camden stopped and pondered for a moment on where to go. He could to the Slytherin Dungeons and continue his studies down there, or perhaps down to the kitchens for a bite to eat? No, neither sounded appealing. Suddenly a cloud moved from it's spot in the sky, revealing the shining sun. Squinting his eyes, he quickly decided it was a perfect day to relax by the lake. Camden's legs directed him to the ground floor of the school and onwards to the giant front doors. Glancing around him, he looked to see if there was anyone around to talk to before actually stepping outside. Seeing only a group of giggling first years, he rolled his eyes and pushed open the doors.
The Nott boy was welcomed with a crisp breeze that ruffled his dark golden locks. Surprisingly, it was quite refreshing and Camden was instantly glad he chose to go outdoors. Taking a deep breath on the steps of the castle, he let the sunshine and air flow through his system, making himself one with nature. Many would've felt ridiculously embarrassed by such an act, but not Camden. For he was adored by many and he knew it. He knew that all the girls would think he was "adorable" for wanting to be so close to nature. He could just hear them now. "Oh my goodness look at Camden, the sun's nothing compared to him!" Smirking with confidence, he set off towards the lake.
The ugly green lake actually looked somewhat decent today. The sun sparkled across the still water to produce shimmering diamonds. He couldn't look at it for more than maybe ten seconds. Looking around, he saw that there were many other students outside. It was quite strange, that others were there, for the grounds only made the sound of a faint whisper. It was quite relaxing and with the cold air, it felt clean. The only problem was the sun. If it could just dim it's light a bit, it would've been perfect.
He traveled down to the lake, where he found a nice path of grass and took a seat. He began to pick out some grass from the ground and began to throw it into the lake. He watched as they landed daintily on the surface of the water and were carried to the middle of the lake, where only god would know what happened to them.
