rosedale heights
this is the one and only high school for the village. and despite that fact, you still have to pay to attend the school. it's around the same as a normal private school but the funds go towards keeping the school up since the government doesn't exactly dish out a lot of money to a school that technically doesn't exist.

residences
everyone needs a home, and since the village is smaller then most towns everyone's house is nearly the same. there are no separations based on money or family, it's a house and you can get one in admissions.

queen street
there's no such thing as a 'shopping mall' in Talbott, but there is queen street which is just as good. here you can find many little individually owned clothing stores, home decoration stores, cafes and restaurants. nothing chain exists here it's all locally owned and run.

express yourself cafe
this is the talbottians version of starbucks. everyone comes here when they need a cuppa something. even if they don't people tend to just stop by and listen to the local singers and bands that play here friday night. like the name entails, you may express yourself at this cafe.

the underground
despite all attempts to make this a 'clean' and 'safe' environment (aka trying to shelter the next generation) there are those who have helped maintain a realistic society in Talbott. the underground is exactly what you think it is, it's underground. this is where you can find all the less-then-excepted things such as clubs (all ages, drinking and of course, strip), concert venues, inappropriate stores, and tattoo and piercing parlours.

got caught in the underground? I bet you had to spend a night in the local jail. broke your arm? you probably got rushed to the hospital. find all those things here, hospital, jail, government facilities, fire department... just be careful what you say adults may not agree with some of your opinions.
