Registering - Make sure when registering you create an account using a first and last name, all capitals. No Bob Mercers or bob billy mercer or xoxoxbob billy mercerxoxox. (CORRECT WAY: BOB MERCER) Granted, some of you might not read the rules and register wrong. We won't hang you from the gallows, but we will give you a light slap on the wrist, change it for you, and send you on your way. Let's be realistic here, people.

Reservations - See the Canon List for information on reservations. Simple, no?

Canons - Look, dudes, it's simple: you apply for a canon, BE ACTIVE. There is nothing more annoying than a person who joins as a pivotal character and then never shows up. Don't do it. Period. As for playing a canon, please stay true to the character; Murphy MacManus isn't going to be prancing around in a pink dress, mmmkay? As funny as that would be, it's not happening. Pleasandthankyou.

The Mary Sue / Gary Stu Law - NO ONE IS PERFECT. You can't be curvy and thin. You can't be lithe and buff. You can't be happy and broody. Let's avoid making the sickeningly perfect, disgustingly emo characters that I see in my nightmares, alright? Think flaws. Think variety. This being said...

Variety - Not everyone can be a kick ass hit man for the mob, mmkay? Let's see some different characters popping up in here.

Multiple Characters - Yeah, you can have them. Don't go overboard, though. Each of your characters should get equal attention, kay? Kay.

Age Requirement - All characters must be over the age of eighteen with the exception of any canons.

Incomplete Applications - Post 'em in the designated forum, yeah? If they're left along for more than a week, an admin will scrap it.

Stay Proper Tense - Unfortunately for you peeps, I'm sort of a grammar Nazi. Please please please use proper spelling, proper grammar, and proper sentence structure. Here is how not to role play at NYG.

- *she walked into the room* how are you *she asked*
- i walked into the room and looked around.
- omg lolz i walked into the hella tizight room.

Here is how to role play at FT.

- Sarah walked into the room. "How are you?" she asked.

See? Not hard. Also, please try to post at least two decent paragraphs per post, and a paragraph consists of roughly five sentences. Be descriptive, people. This is a fairly advanced role play.

God-Modding - Don't do it. The admins will use god-modders as game for our hunting parties.

Pregnancies and Babies - We do not want a thousand pregnant girls running around and popping out babies. Please check with an administrator before impregnating your character!

Stay IC - If you feel obligated to say something in your threads that's out of character, please designate it with parentheses or something. Keep OOC arguments and chatter out of threads.

Rating - We're rated R, guys. Deal. This board is based off of rated R movies, so it only makes sense? One thing that irks me, though... don't have sex for the sake of having sex. It's creepy. I've had people PM me on sites before asking to do sex threads. If I hear of ANYTHING like this, you WILL be banned and I WILL warn other boards about you. Don't think I'm messing. Aside from this, just don't go crazy, ya'll, okay? This is supposed to be fun.

Graphics - No pornography, and nothing too huge. Just use your common sense. No more than 500 in width.

Respect - I will not tolerate any arguing on this board. Save your real life shit for somewhere else, okay? We just want to have a good time, yo. So keep it light.

Advertising - Simple. Post in our advertising forum, make sure we can post in yours, or we'll delete it. NO posting in the C-Box with adverts.

C-Box - Same rules apply. No arguing, keep it happy.
