Welcome to Rathe, the largest city in England…
Where the streets are never littered but the weather is always dull.
Where there’s always that moist smog sneakily enveloping the winding streets.
Where the magic is ancient but the world is modern.
Rathe my friends is stuck in a warp.
And no one is safe.
it’s the only thing that slowly``
It is the present time. Think of all things you know.
Now, quick release, forget these thoughts. Forget they existed.
This is Rathe, a city where you think London should be.
The streets are miserable and dank and the cobbles are damp.
Around every corner there is a betrayer, a mask.
And what are those things? That lurk in the night…
“The Nithes” they’re called, so legend says.
And yet the world moves on, people get old and die.
Yet Rathe always stays the same, with its never changing climate.
And its never changing secrets…

Every person has been educated to protect.
To withstand. To fight back. To enhance their power.
Where the modern world calls on the ancient magic for help.
Potion books, potions… the sort of magic acquired rather than inherited.
