Addy had gotten home from college at about five o'clock in the evening. It was a Friday, more specifically. She had left quite
early in her opinion. The first two hours of college had been Magical Arts lectures, the next two had been Media, followed by four hours of Art - with hardly any breaks. However the lecturers let the students at Bellton Towers eat during classes, so that was alright. At least she'd had her egg roll. Even if she enjoyed the day, it had been hard, admittedly. So, because it was a Friday, she'd put her portfolios aside and thrown on one of her many club outfits. It was neon pink and black - and the contrasting colours looked good. Most of Addy's clothes were from TopShop, where she worked part time and had a 25% discount. One of the many joys of working there. Plus, she loved chatting with the people there - they were all really friendly.
Addy had been living in Rathe for about two months, and hadn't been to Elekktro before, so she didn't know what to expect. When the bouncers let her through, her mouth gaped open. It was colourful, bright, and make someone have an epileptic fit - even if they didn't have epilepsy. She loved it! There were flashing lights, colourful drinks, colourful dancefloors and the music was pumping extremely loud. She let off a "Wooo!" before heading over to the bar. If she wanted to start the party she needed a kick. "Two vodka shots," she remarked, banging on the table. The barman placed them in front of her, accepted the money, and watched as she tipped half a packet of Skittles into one, and the other half into the other shot. "Watch me in ten minutes. Sugar rush, alcoholic buzz. Nothing like it, hun. I'm out." She winked, downed the two shots, and walked away, still chewing on the remaining Skittles. Within moments she had felt a sudden urge to dance. She shook her hips to the music and soon enough had blended in with the rave scene. The rush buzzed in her head and she laughed loudly. This was awesome - way better than a club in New York. Well, she'd hated New York anyway, but still. It was also a better club than the one the other side of Rathe, "EmbRRace". She rolled her eyes at EmbRRace. It was nothing compared to this.
Soon enough the DJ complained jokingly that he needed some drink, so the music stopped for a minute. "Awww!" Addy sulked, aiming it at the DJ. "I was just getting into it!" She put on pouty lips to the DJ as he walked passed and he laughed.
"Don't worry about it sweetheart mister DJ will be back up in no time." Addy smiled and watched him as he ordered a drink. While he took a break, more music played in the background, but it wasn't as loud as the DJ's music. Addy assumed this was when all the people took a break for drinks. Noticing some neon coloured couches in a darkened part of the club, she ordered a WKD Iron Brew and went to sit down. It was quieter back there, no wonder there wasn't anyone around the sofas. They were sticking to the loud areas. Sighing, she sat down. Some peace and quiet for a minute, before she'd go back out to party.
What had possessed her to come alone? Her careless side, of course. The side that didn't care what people thought. The side that dominated her every move. She smiled to herself - tonight would be a night of partying, partying and even more partying. Even if it meant a nightclub crawl - going to every club in Rathe that was - it didn't matter. It was her night to party (she deserved it after her busy day), and party she would.
It was then she noticed someone sit on the sofa opposite her. "Oh, hey, you enjoying the night yeah? I'm Addy by the way. Or Adder, like the snake. I may bite you know.." She winked playfully, leaning back in her chair as a barman handed her her drink.
