MAYOR GRAHAMS STEPS FORWARD
IN URGENT APPEAL TO PUBLIC

In the past number of weeks Nithe attacks have become more frequent in our very streets. The mayor of the city, Nicholas Grahams, has stepped forward with a televised appeal to the public.

"People of Rathe," the mayor began as he fixed his bowtie on the televised advertisement. I have to admit he looked smashing that night. However his news was, not so smashing.

"People of Rathe. I'm saying this as a caution to all. The young and the old alike. The Nithes are becoming more dominant and more in control of the nighttime streets than ever before. Last night, young eighteen year old girl, Sasha Trent, was taken from the streets in an effort to save her younger sister, aged ten, Lucy. Lucy's body was found early this morning, behind a skip in The Slums. The Trents were from an higher class, and how Lucy even got there is a mystery. There were no witnesses to this awful crime.. What do the Nithes even want with us? Every few nights at least two people go missing. No one has seen The Nithes, and with their cunning ability to stay masked in the shadows, it's very doubtful that we ever will..."

"We can only begin to wonder what these sick creatures may look like. Legend has it that they used to be like us... legend has it that they were born with the gift of magic. Legend has it, maybe it's a group of The Elite gone wrong in the past. All we know is they are dangerous so if you go out late at night you must be accompanied by someone, or at least have potion batches ready incase. Please - this is your life and the lives of everyone around you. For the sake of Rathe - please.. protect yourselves..."

As you can see this inspiring speech as scared us all into improving our magic skills. Teachers in universities have lengthened magic lectures to two hours every morning rather than one. Potions are being made in bulk in the industrial estates outside of Rathe and being sold all over the city. Students are being examined carefully and examinations have become more intense. As the mayor states, we need to protect ourselves. We have to use all that we can and we ask The Elite for more help than ever.

We need you.

To save us all in the duality.
The twofold.
The sides of good, and evil.
