This guide will alert you to the General Usage Guielines of this forum, as well as information detailing things such as how to go about creating your clan, your own site and organising events. We hope you find this guide useful.

Forum Rules

Please play nice. We may have very young members on this forum, and as a result, please refrain from any inappropriate behaviour.

Please observe and follow the rules:

1. Swearing or any other inappropriate language will not be tolerated.



2. Racism, sexism, or any other form of discrimination will not be condoned on this forum.



3. NO SPAMMING!!! We do have an advertisements section here, so it would be appropriate to advertise there. PM advertising is NOT TOLERATED, but advertising in your signiature is permitted. Double posting (replying to a thread in which you made the last post before 48 hours have passed) is considered spamming. Please note the minimum requirement of 15 posts.



4. Please respect every and all members of the community. Any rude/hateful/derogatory/disrespectful comments (otherwise known as flaming, trolling, etc.) targeted at any member will be removed. Attacking another forum member is the fastest way to get banned.



5. No Illegal Content. Play by the rules. Anything that is illegal (or even quasi-illegal) or pornographic will be removed and you will be banned.



6. Censorship: We reserve the right to censor posts. Any violation of the rules will result in moderators taking action. Moderator discretion will be exercised on a case-by-case basis.



7. Use A Descriptive Title. "What cables do I use to connect to my HDTV?" is a much better thread title than "Help ME!!!". Descriptive titles make the forum easier to navigate and read.



8. Make Posts Legible. Itz h4rd 2 undrstnd txt lyke dis. Please use proper grammar, spelling, and punctutation in your posts so everyone can understand you. "1337" speak is not allowed here, it's so 1990s.



9. Use Search. Please try to use the search button to find topics that might have been discussed earlier. This helps to keep the forum organized and we can all avoid the same old question: "How Do I connect my Xbox 360 To My HDTV".

Signature Guidelines

Images must fit these restrictions:
1. Maximum image dimensions are 500 pixels wide by 120 pixels tall.
2. Maximum signature image size is 40kb
3. Signatures can be moderated at a staff member's discretion

We are interested in reading your posts, not your signatures. Long signatures clutter threads and create long load times for our members on slower modems.

Gamertag an clan fields are provided in your profile info, in your controls, so it's not necessary to put your gamertag, gamercard, or clans in your signiatures. You still can, though.

Spam

Yuck. No one likes it. We don't tolerate spam and we we've got a shoot to kill policy: if it looks like spam, we're deleting it.

Xbox Live

If it is found and proven that you have, at any time, cheated over Xbox Live, you will be immediately banned. Cheating may constitute modding, standbying, bridging, playing knowingly with any of the above, deleveling, etc. Other means of cheating may be punishable at an admin's discretion.

Any trash-talking, griefing, etc. during and XLE competition will result in a one-week suspension from that competition, resulting in disqualification in some cases. Trash-talking is defined in the same way flaming and trolling are defined. We ask that all participants in our competitions be courteous and respectful to create a better community.

Moderating

At their discretion, forum staff may edit, move, or delete any content on the forum.

Forum staff may also administer temporary or permanent bans as needed.

Don't ask to become a moderator. If we need more staff, we'll approach you.

Clans

Put your clan's name in the "Clan" field in your profile settings, found in your controls.

You may alsorequest custom made clan sites, forums, sub-forums hosted by XBox Live Evolved, graphics, and advertisements for your own clan. We have dedicated areas on this forum where you may request these items. These items will be created by one of our dedicated staff members.

Just remember to follow the guidelines which are pinned in these forums.
