I propose that we transfer all squadron activities to this site. The people over at the new replacement for AC.net "acecombatskies.com" were, afterall, so kind in letting us know about this ahead of time.

We lost a lot of information when shadow ditched the site without warrning. This information will need to be filled in from our memory of it...

Just a few of the important things we lost:

• Our Roster and Ranks page (we have a slightly outdated one here)
• Our Signup Page
• Our Sigs page
• Our "New member info page"
• And much more

If anyone can help fill in the gaps around here please let me know. All help is appreciated.

Also, try to get a hold of all our members, let them know what's going on. Even the inactive members if you can.

I have the first page of most of the topics that were pined. Also, shadow has made a topic somewere on the new site about retriving old information. Does anyone know how I can post a picture or something of these pages?

The sudden site change is the evilest thing thats every happened to me!

The pictures were lost along with the rest of the site. The pics arnt even in my back ups. Well, at least not in the ones I gave you. THe back ups on my computer still have them, but the pics were lost somewere in beatween uploding and posting. Ill post the pics in the back up topic.

I have backups on all of the X-S sigs I made but that's about it.....

Ugh.....I have no objections to changing hands with the site....but JESUS WTF they didn't need to keep everyone in the dark!!

It would have been much easier on everyone if they had given up some info about what was going on....

oh well....

It won't be the same....it may not be better....but AC.net will still live on as ACS.com....so....don't worry about this killing AC.....just relax for now.....everything will fall into place....

At least it got everyone into the Home forums....lol!! We've been trying to do that since it was created.....

Well for what it's worth - coming from an individual who HAS in the past owned a certain "Forum". Guys this stuff costs money. If you remember, there weren't any banners or advertisements on the site - so obviously Shadow was cranking this out of his own pocket...

Agreed - a little heads up would have been nice, but none of us know his situation as far as I'm aware - as for me, it was the money - I just couldn't afford the expense anymore with nothing coming in on the side. So like Shadow, I gave it up. It's now in good hands and in fact has become an even greater site than I had the time to give it...

So keep an open mind - things can/will get better once the kinks get all worked out. In a month we'll all be so used to the site that we won't even give it a second thought when we're trying to find something that we or a friend has posted.

This is total bull shit, first they don't tell us about it and they go and get rid of all our accomplishments in seconds.

Don't worry about it.....Shadow is giving F22_fan everything he can from the old site.....

We won't know anything until all the kinks are worked out.....so we can just sit back, relax and enjoy some quality time here....or there if you wish....
