 Temprorary Backup Folder |

Since Fan has allowed us temporary access to our ACS folder for a few days, however, after that he will delete all the contents of the squadron folders! It's up to us to recover what need to be recovered and do it fast!
Please copy any topics you think might be worth saving into our new
Temporary Backup Site folder!
(Be sure to read the RULES first)
This will be our last chance, so everyone help out and save what you can! |

| ACS Squadron Section Offline |

Well, as you all know, thanks to a select few people (that we have no idea who they are) F22_fan has gotten irritated enough to close down the Squadron section of ACS for everyone.
Since we have no way of retrieving information from those sections, I suggest we start backing up everything on this site from now on. In fact, I don't even want to post anything up to date over on ACS anymore, this whole "close the section down with no regard to the squadrons" bit has happened one to many times in the history of AC.net/ACS.com.
So I propose we try to switch the roles of the sites. Essentially, I want to make this site look like our ACS folder did and our ACS folder to look like this site does now (As far as activity goes anyways).
Feel free to express your thoughts, questions, and agitations with this latest act here. |

| Vacation |

Well, I just thought I'd let you guys know that I'm going to be on vacation starting tomorrow (8-9-07) until next Wednesday (8-15-07). My family will be taking a trip south and checking out the many attractions of Ohio, Including (but certainly not limited to) the National Air Force Museum at Wright-Patterson AFB! (Don't worry, I'll take pictures)  
As you know, PhantomPhanatic will still be in charge while I am gone, however, due to his possible inability to be online often (because he's moving off to college), in the event that some issue arises that needs to be dealt with more quickly, I would like to give the job of temporary command over to Silverhawk7.
I will still be off and on today if you have any questions and if the opportunity arises I may be able to find some internet access on my trip as well. |

| I'm off to another Robotics Event |

I just thought I'd let you guys know that I'm going to be away until Monday as my Robotics team (Team 703 Phoenix) is going to the FIRST Robotics World Championship competition in Atlanta Georgia! 
Don't get into too much trouble while I'm gone. 
Oh and just as a general note to anyone who might be interested, the Championship is being held at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta and is open to the public for free! Anyone in the area with nothing better to do on Friday or Saturday might want to consider stopping by and checking it out!
There will be over 300 teams from 6 different countries competing in this event; it's been described as the Superbowl of Robotics competitions!
The Event runs from 9am to 3pm this Thursday through Saturday (though Thursday is usually the less interesting practice matches) and like I said, it's open free to the public! 
If we get internet access in the hotel we're staying in I'll try to update you guys on how we're doing and there will also be Live webcasts on NASAs website of the events.

Well, my computer Nazi dad is at it again trying to limit my access again... this time he's come up with a means to cut off most of my internet activity through the use of this:

It seems to be some sort of Proxy server similar to ones used on many school networks that cause 90% of the internet to be blocked, I fear it will completely cut me off from you all and it could be installed as early as tomorrow morning. Now, I'm thinking there are still things it may not be able to block (IMs, online games, ect.) or may choose not to so I will try to keep in contact if this does happen as I fear. (even if it means going to the public library).
I will still be able to communicate through my Wikipedia account http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Cbale2000 but I am unsure.
If anyone has any ideas on how to bypass this thing, please help me out!  |

For those of you who frequent ACS you will notice that I haven't been there in a few days.
This is due to the fact that something has happened to my router that prevents me from going to certain sites (it's not a blocker either).
I can still access our home forum (obviosly), and all my IMs so if you need to get a hold of me, you still can.
If one of you who do visit the site often would be kind enough to create a topic about this to let everyone there know it would be most appreciated. |

Well, as the topic name implys, I will be leaving this Sunday to go to camp and then vacation (sort of) and will be gone for 2 weeks.
Of course PhantomPhanatic will still be around but he may also enlist the help of a few of our devision COs to keep things in control (Seeing as he isn't online quite as often as some).
So, all of you listen to your leaders, and please...... don't do anything... stupid.. :ph34r:
Make me proud guys, I don't want to have to worry about you all tearing up the place while I'm away. 
I'll be around tommorrow and possibly saturday so I'll be around to do any last minute changes. |

I'm managing it for now. Basicly, I'll be like an admin but I take my orders form cable and Phantom and all those people. Pretty much, I keep the site working.
There may be some kinks in it. If your name is diffrent then your acs.com acount, use acs.com to PM me when you try to join. If your making a new game spot acount, please use your acs.com name. This is request but it would realy help. |
