Hi everyone,

Much to our regret we've decided to shut the board down due to various reasons ranging from a lack of motivation to RL interferences of both players and mods. Jobs, moving, holidays, and all that good stuff has been piling on everyone at once, and with a relatively small group of players like ours, those absences hit hard. We've adored playing with all of you and your awesome characters, and we love the universe all of us have been able to put together in such a short time, but we simply cannot give ELF the time and love it needs and deserves to get back on its feet at this point.

We wish it could be otherwise since we've very much enjoyed our time here and playing with all of you, familiar and new faces alike. It's one of the reasons we've been hesitant to close the game - it's only been such a short time that we've barely had the time to get to play with all you lovely people, let alone work out our storylines and character development as we'd have loved to do. We've given it several shots to get back into things but it has never worked out as planned. Keeping on trying when we don't believe in it would just be stringing everyone along. Hopefully everyone understands our reasons for doing this, and maybe we'll play together elsewhere at some point in the future.

This was a long time coming and we're extremely sorry that it's taken us so long to get everything straightened out, come to a decision, and make it public. It's completely our fault and we want to offer our sincere apologies for flaking out so badly. We sincerely hope none of you, you know. Hate us.
