Greetings, all. I have decided to start a journal, having absolutely nothing better to do at the current moment. I could be sleeping, but hey, sleep is for squares and I am a rectangle.

Hm, what's with that smiley? I actually don't feel like grinning evily...but it was somehow compelling.

Well, my Sweet Sixteen is coming in two weeks. Anyone wanna get me a present?

Wow, can't believe I started another journal thinking that I hadn't already on this site. That's what happens when you're inactive for a long time. Sorry 'bout that.

Anyways, yes, you are all invited to my Sweet Sixteen, which is in two days, and feel free to bring gifts!

Damn, am I ever tired. I just got back from a visit to S.P.A.T (a yaoi-devoted club that some friends and I made), and I'm about to keel over. We spent half the visit cleaning out Hell (the back room of the air-conditioned shed that we use as H.Q) and throwing all the stuff in Hades (another shed that we didn't bother to clean up).

Long story.

So, I've been carting old boxes around for half the day, but it was still fun. I brought a bottle of sake with me, and we partied it up.

I find cleaning fun... sometimes. lol ^^;;;; Well, at least ya had fun, ne? *^-^*

I wasn't cleaning up on my b-day. My official birthday is Feb. 14th, Valentine's day, though I had my party on the eleventh. I already posted about it on my livejournal, so I'm going to do a cut-n-paste so y'all can know what happened:

These past few days have probably been the happiest of all my sixteen years. I could not POSSIBLY have had a better time at my party. There were a few bumps--my mom being hormonal, gate crashers, and the loss of one present--but other than that these past few days have been positively amazing.

I'll give a quick overview of the party from my POV, then move on to the after party:

* I showed up around 7, greeted some early arrivals, attempted to murder my mother for being rude to said early arrivals (she's anal about being punctual), and finished setting up. I played Kitty's mix CD, along with some Prodigy (courtesy of Christy), A Perfect Circle, and Chili Peppers.

* The first hour or so was spent saying late 'hellos' to people who didn't arrive on time (Vic, Teresa, Arianne), and early 'goodbyes' to both sets of my senior friends. Purgy, Sora, and Tsumi had some clubbing to do, and Anna, Maggie, Melissa, and Thomas could only stay long enough to drop off gifts. Poor Teah was the same way, due to her cold ;_;.

* Second hour was used in devouring strange asian food, defiling my lovely cake with chopsticks (good God that was funny), and generally mingling with a room full of people dedicated to worshiping the day of my birth. Damn, I felt special. And everyone looked fabulous (I'm glad my mom thought to suggest everyone wear asian atire to go with the asian theme of the party)! I was jealous of Michelle's fan, Rylee and Kayla's dresses, Joey's entire outfit, Kitty's parasol, and so on down the list. Still, I liked my Mandarin hat ^^.

* Third hour was spent with presents. Don't ask me to name who gave me what, but there's wasn't a single thing that I got that I didn't absolutely adore. You guys are seriously the best. I couldn't feel more loved. Some of the gifts were totally dead on, too. I've been wanting a pair of Chinese sandals, and what did Charlotte get me? Chinese sandals. I've been wanting a copy of Evanescence's Origin, and what did Sherise get me? A copy of it. Same goes for my hair chopsticks, my sketch book (thank you, Kitty!), my gift certificates (though I can't find the one Sherise gave me >.<), and my everything else.

The gate crashers were a huge annoyance. First off, David was among them, and I knew that was going to be a problem. But, no one made a big deal of it and ruined my party, and for that I was extremely grateful. I kept them contained to the first room as much as I could, but then they broke into my mom's wine. My mom actually thought that was funny, but I still didn't like it much. I shooed them out a little while after that.

Aubrey, Charlotte, and Michelle were chosen to spend the night at my house. We didn't go to sleep until 5-o-clock. It was seriously SO much fun. All three of those girls are hilarious, and we spent hours talking about absolutely nothing. We spread a bunch of pillows and blankets out over my living room floor and made our own 'harem' for the night. It was great. We slept for a grand total of five hours, talked some more, ordered pizza, then everyone went home around three in the afternoon.

Everything after that was family stuff, and now I really need to be doing my homework, so I'll end my entry here. Just know that I'm extremely happy right now.

I SAW CLOUD DRESSED UP IN DRAG! And he kissed me! OMG I LOVE MEGACON! The craziest shit can happen there! Okay, I just had to get that out before I could begin saying anything about what I actually did or any of that good stuff. There was a guy at MegaCon (MC) for all three days who was Naruto on the first day, an awesome Cloud on the second day and at the Rave (which I went to), and then Cloud in Drag on the third day! I walked up to him and said quite plainly, "I love you and everything you are." and he gave me a kiss. IT WAS SOOO KAWAII!

Okay, now, here's what actually happened to me.

Thursday ~ I went to school, went to work with Summer, gathered together all my paychecks so I would have money, then spent the night over at SPAT with Sora and Tsumi. Overall, it was a fun time, even though we didn't do much.

Friday ~ FIRST DAY OF MEGACON! Sora, Tsumi, and I met up with Ami and Michi at Borders (I bought some yaoi while there), then drove to our Hotel (the Watergate Resort) in Orlando. We parked our car at the Convention Center, realized we'd left our passes at the hotel, drove back to hotel, drove back to Convention Center, then finally entered MegaCon. First thing I saw was a giant band of 29 people each dressed perfectly as a different character from Naruto. They even had a girl dressed as Naruto's 'Sexy no jutsu' (with clothing on, obviously, but a sexy version of his jounin vest). Then I saw a Miroku, seven Clouds from FF VII (practically), a bunch of people from Bleach, more Naruto (I never realized how popular it was), and a few Inuyasha characters, but not as many as I expected. Chibi-suke (Lisa, a girl we met at the Rave) later told me that Inuyasha has declined in popularity amongst cosplayers, but I still think it's awesome.

We pretty much spent the entire day shopping, watching random anime (all the shops had little TVs), and taking pictures of cosplayers (and happy male couples. There were two really hot asian guys in red leather corsets that I got more than a few pictures of). I got a very nice MegaCon T-shirt, convinced Ami to buy me yaoi anime (yay for legal friends!), a zillion new buttons ('Glomp me!' and things like that), posters, yaoi manga, and a bunch of anime soundtracks (Gravitation, Yu Yu Hakusho, Inuyasha, etc.)

Then, when we got back to the hotel, we watched Final Fantasy: Advent Children, which is now one of my favorite movies ever. Kadaj could not BE more beautiful.

Saturday ~ SECOND DAY OF MEGACON! We got there just in time to watch the costume contest. It was so friggin' cool! People got up on stage and put on little skits (the Naruto group staged a fight where Naruto and his team won by using the girl dressed as 'Sexy no Jutsu'. It was hilarious) and even danced (there was a girl dressed as a DDR character who did a great job). One of the Clouds was so freaking hot...Not the one in drag; another one. Seriously, I think I used half a camera just taking pictures of him.

After that, everyone crowded into the main hall and waited for the dance (later called The Rave) to begin. That's where I met Chibi-suke and took pictures of all the beautiful happy couples. They all seemed to come out at once; it was great. Inside the dance there was everything from strobe lights and girls in cages to crazy techno music. We even started the longest conga line I've ever seen, then broke off into anime themed conga lines. People were shouting, "Hey, you're from Naruto/FF VII/Bleach/Azumanga Daioh! Join our conga line!" It was great even though I lost one of my hair chopsticks during all my running around. One really nice girl named Alex spent like ten minutes helping me look for it; I felt loved. And then a bunch of Jedis came and started a lightsaber limbo contest, which Amber (another girl I met) won hands down. I also found time to help Belle ('nother friend I met while dancing) solve her relationship problems and move on to bigger and better things. In other words, we went around to all the hot cosplay guys and said, "Hey, we love your costume so much! Can we have a kiss?" and it worked, too. On Every. Single. Guy. Damn, Belle and I are such pimps.

After that, it was back to the hotel room to watch yaoi anime and eat Chinese.

Sunday ~ FINAL DAY OF MEGACON! We spent the entire day shopping, I kid you not. I bought everything I could think of that I might possibly regret not buying later. I have another zillion pins, two fans, a parasol, more yaoi manga, stickers, etc. as a result. But, I have no buyers remorse. It's all good shit, and I had a blast. Plus, I spent about fifteen minutes watching a replay of the concert that Joey and Kayla and Rylee went to at a shot that sold JRock stuff. That band is seriously good; I wish I'd gone to the concert.

Overall, this has been the greatest weekend of my life. Excuse me as I float away on a cloud...

I want to go to an Anime Con but I can never get the chance. >.< There's one coming up soon over here and I can't go because I ish don't have the money, cosplay outfit, and my parents won't let me because they don't like anime. XP
