She began to lick her kits. She had had 4 of them. Their father was Froststar, the leader of FrostClan. She knew it was against the warrior code but she was in love with Froststar. Her kits were a grey and white, a black, a pure white, and a black and white. She had agreed that 2 of her kits would go to FrostClan. She had chosen to keep the grey and white and the black one. Snowstar got up. "Stay there, both of you" She mewed to Nightkit and Patchkit. She picked up the other 2 kits and began to journey to the border between SnowClan and FrostClan when she got there, Froststar was waiting. She put the two kits down next to him. She nuzzled them and then left back to camp.

Froststar watched his mate go. He picked up the 2 kits. He named the white one, wich was a she-cat; Whitekit (later Whiteheart), and the other one, wich was a tom; Windkit (later Windstorm)
