& CLASSES
the classrooms may not be as big as those at hogwarts, or as well equipped, but the teachers still teach and the students still learn. the desks are worn from the hundred or so years since they were last replaced and yet, for some inexplicable reason, everyone looks pretty happy.

& MAIN HALL
unlike it's more lavish counterpart, dumtaxat only has one hall and the hall is used for everything from eating to big assemblies. for a reason no one has ever really gotten, though, this room has gotten the title of main hall. how it can be the main hall if there is only one, no one ever really knows.

& GROUNDS
the grounds are only a small area of greenery, but the students still love it. they are too small for a proper quidditch pitch to fit in along with the greenhouse and some free space, so mini-quidditch has been invented and is played for fun, but no one ever really complains.

& STUDY ROOM
every day after supper, student gather in the study room to complete their homework and read. the room functions as a library, common room and study hall all in one. no one ever said the dumtaxat admin didn't plan space carefully.

& EPSILON DORMS
they may officially be the top house but the get the same dorms as everyone else. ten beds per room, split by gender and age group. the rooms aren't massive - just large enough to be okay. a small common area is located in the middle although it is rarely used. most people prefer the study room.

& DIGAMMA DORMS
almost identical to those of epsilon, the digamma dorms are exactly a floor below the other house. the only difference is that the rooms are slightly smaller and the commons slightly bigger. there is no logical explanation for this - it is a fluke of the builders.

& ZETA DORMS
these are located on the same floor as the epsilon dorms. they are the same size as it's floor co-habitors. in fact, some go so far as to wonder why they even bother calling the dorms different house names given their obvious similarity.

& ETA DORMS
known for their happy-go-lucky attitudes, the eta dorms reflect this. they may be the same size and have the same shape and furnishings as the others, but there's something special there. maybe it's the funny posters that keep finding their way onto the walls despite being banned, or the constant laughing, but bottom house they may be, they have a happy life.
