All we need to do for orientation are the three short readings and the Costanza v. Seinfeld brief, right? Just making sure I'm not missing anything.

Before, it's due like the first day. Go on the website and find the part about orientation and the info and assignments (with the documents) are on there. Don't worry, you're not behind I'm sure, I don't even plan on doing mine until this weekend after I'm all moved in, especially since I won't have cable or internet until wednesday.

We get the books at orientation. I think 2ls and 3ls show us around and take us to the bookstore with a list of all of the books we are supposed to get.

I think we need to complete the Seinfeld brief before we meet with our writing sections during orientation...I'm pretty sure it's the second day, so you have until Tuesday. It shouldn't take too long - One of the reading assignments demonstrates the appropriate method for briefing a case. It doesn't take too long, and I think you'll probably just need the assignment for discussion purposes.

There are also a few reading assignments on legal writing and community building, but they aren't too long. Our first day assignments for class are also posted, but you need to get the books first. For the most part the assignments are pretty light - except for my particular Civ Pro class.
