Title: Sixers pretty much out...
matts720 - April 16, 2006 11:22 PM (GMT)
Well with the Bulls winning today and the Wizards up 12 at halftime over Cleveland, it looks like the Sixers are headed for the lottery. And thank goodness for that too, I'd rather have a shot at the #1 pick than watching them get romper-stomped by Detroit in the first round. Now maybe they can finally blow up this team, but I don't trust Billy King with that job...

Well, at least the Flyers are still in it, and I think they have a great shot regardless of what that bastard Barry Melrose says

I was just happy they didn't draw the Devils in round one, though I would've rather have seen them play the Rangers.

Melrose is a classic anti-Flyers commentator. I like the guy, but he's always had a bias for some reason. Maybe the wouldn't hire him to be a head coach.
I'm looking forward to tonight's game 1 against the Sabres. I think it's going to be a good long series...6 or 7 games.
Did anyone watch the Flames game last night? Brutal.

Jesus God they got killed 8-2 last night. First you had the heartbreaker in Game 1, now you just have the ownage of Game 2.
Well at least there's the Phillies.....::sees Charlie Manuel is still managing the team::....d'oh.

My head is still ringing from the hit Umberger took on Sat night...last night was just awful, but there's still time left and they're comin back home for the next two...I expect a tied series heading back to Buffalo...I'll give you the phillies too, Ryan Howard is a stud, although my heart lies with the oakland a's and the red sox (sorry, my dad brainwashed me before i was born)

I was at the Phillies game tonight. Great 4th inning, but they still lost, and it was too cold to stay past the 6th inning. Oh well.
