October - November 1570 AF: The temperature averages at about 45 F (7 C). It is rainy for the first week, and though the rain stops for the second week it is still overcast. After that, the weather clears up but it is still not particularly warm. Towards the end of October, there begins to be frost and fog in the mornings.
November dawns crisp with hard frosts in the first week and the first light dustings of snow in the second, hard granules that sting in the wind and blow about the streets but don't accumulate. Temperatures vary, between 20 F (-6 C) and 40 F (4 C), always colder in the mornings, warming slightly in the afternoons. The last two weeks of see thick snow, enough to coat roofs and stick to coats, and by the end of the month five inches have fallen.

Herald's Collegium
The newly reopened Herald's Collegium. This is the largest of the buildings in the Collegium because it also houses most of the classrooms, not just the Herald and Herald Trainee quarters.

Unaffiliated Student and Staff Housing
A wing in the New Palace is dedicated to housing the Unaffiliated students, more commonly called Blues, and the Unaffiliated teachers at the Collegium.

This library is the largest library in all of Valdemar, and is open to use by any of the students studying at the Collegium, no matter the colour of their uniform.
