Mwa ha ha...everybody's favorite part of the forum *music* the rules! This topic is here so that when we ban somebody, then we'll just have to point to the topic -- make sure you read it carefully.

Validation:

An e-mail will be sent to you with a link that will activate your account. If you accidently entered the wrong e-mail into the registration form, e-mail Eevereon and she will validate you.


Name Changes:
PM Eevereon if you would like to have your name changed. All name changes will be recorded in the Announcements > Name Change Log. Do not ask for name changes frequently, limit your changes from one to two per month! (else it'll annoy a lot of people...)


General Rules:

1. Do not make multiple accounts!. If you lost your password, go here.

2. Don't spam the forums.

3. Don't flame other members, especially the mods/admins - they will have the right to give you a warning or ban you.

4. Don't cuss excessively! We want the VNB to be a forum for all ages.


Posting:

1. Your post should NOT stretch the page! If it does, it will be edited, but we won't hesitate in giving warnings if you continue to do so.

2. Don't double post, remember, you can edit your posts.

3. Posting stolen works will resulting in having your topic/post deleted and a warning or possibly a ban.


Signatures/Avatars:

1. Try to keep your signature small and simple. Also, banners should not stretch the page or they will be removed.

2. Do not insert DIV tags into your signature! They usually messes up the forums.

3. Your avatar/sig must not have inappropriate messages or images that might be offending to someone.

4. DO NOT insert music or embedded movies into your signature! It's very annoying and may slow a lot of computers down.


Advertising:

1. Only advertise your websites in the Websites forum.

2. You may advertise websites or whatever in your signature.


On the other note... VNB is a very close community, we are friendly to newbies and we will try to help you get comfortable with the forums (you gotta stay active though!) The rules here are pretty lose, but that doesn't mean the admins or mods won't enforce them when necessary. Just use your common sense when posting, be nice to the other members, and most importantly, enjoy your stay and make lots of friends!
