Welcome to the UndergroundSquare forums, a place for students (read:people like me) to chat on life, love and good surfing. This is the new home of the former ThomianForever boards (which catered to existing Thomians not too warped to use the internet) but now we're expanding the userbase to include more teens, regardless of country, city or school.

First off: how to make sure you don't get people mad at you:

1: Be polite. Never use bad words, no matter how tempting four lettered words and curses may be.

2: Stay pleasant. Welcome new guys to the board, and be open minded. But if a particular user gets on your nerves or abuses you, contact Kenny(kvys2000), me, or any other Admin or Moderator immediately. We'll deal with it.

3: Don't spam the users, admins, topics or people that you don't like. We all have our real lives to consider, you know. ;D

4: Don't make fun of other people, through uploaded files, pics or music. Okay, you may be good at photoshop, but don't splash pictures of people stuck on other people in awkward situaions. Its rude and unpleasant.

If you break any of the rules, we can warn you, and kick you out. Permanently. Here's to hoping we don't have to do that.

We have new rules! Please keep note of the following:

5. Do not reply to a topic simply because you can. It is useless and very much annoying to other users if you put up one sentence posts that contribute nothing to the discussion. Seeing a forum in which your name is splayed in all the threads is beautiful to you alone. If you are to post, make sure you have something worthwhile to read.

For example, if we are talking about the Jay Leno show, don't post something reading: "Its a good show.". We all know its a good show, because we are talking about it.

6. Do not post multiple posts at once. If readers stumble upon a thread where you have done twenty consecutive posts, they'll find it soporific and boring. Of course there are exceptions, such as when you're posting a comic book online.

7. No Flash videos, java applets or 'cool' HTML scripts. There are some members with old computers who still want to enjoy the discussions here.

8. Stick to the topic. If the topic deviates, help by saying something that is connected to the original, or pose a question. If out of ideas, just point out that the topic has strayed. Keep spam to the spam thread.

9. No cloning topics. If we have a topic welcoming newbies, do not create another. If you create another by accident, we will move it or delete it, but please do not do so purposely.

Remember, this forum records your IP address. Once you are banned, your computer can no longer access this forum. Please do not make us resort to such measures.
