Ok, there is someone that I know who wants to commit suicide (it isn't Ryan) and I don't know what I can do to stop it. I need advice on what I should do for this person.

wow this is a tough place to be in...
first of all I would talk to him or her about it.....asking them why they want to commit suicide...I would talk to them...it helps a lot of people when they have somenoe to talk to.. --------------------    |

Be their friend. Comfort them. Let them know they're needed, loved, cared for.
Let them know you're there. If possible, lead them to Christ at the same time. Other than that... The only thing I can tell you is that you may have to report it to someone. They have places to stop this sort of stuff. =/ -------------------- |

yeah. just be there friend and find someway to get them help.
i've never had any friends say they want to commit suicide...but one girl i know could have potentially been suicidal...and there were a couple times where i thought about calling her parents. -------------------- -Kellie

well, I don't know what to say, except pray for them. But I do know how the person feels. Er, I've had suicidal thoughts last year, but through that, I'd have to say, I felt lonely and no one cared about me.

i would help them. cause when my dad was a kid he had a friend who commited suicide and didnt tell anybody that he was gonna do it. (but he had a really bad childhood) so i would talk to him/her! and try to talk them out of it!
