Awww, I want to help. I wish I had a kimono. Unfortunately I would have the opposite problem with the length. I don't think I've ever owned a pair of jeans that didn't drag on the ground. Though Japanese women tend to be shorter, right? Maybe I have a chance.
Anyway, with or without a kimono, it sounds like fun! |

uhm... in person it might be easier to explain this.. but when you tie kimono, around the waist, at the edge of the obi, its typically folded up... so that a short flap is visible past the bottom of the obi... which is why i say kimono are sort of one size fits all. all the robes are pretty long, because they're supposed to be folded at the .. waist-ish area. but if they aren't folded that way.. maybe it would be long enough to fit amanda, and for someone shorter we'd just have to fold it up a bit higher.
