Long ago, two packs reigned in the far north. They each kept to their own ways and never bothered one another, though their views were greatly different. One day, members of the pack known as Keva'al strayed closer to the other pack's lands, doing as they normally did. Their particular actions were chasing and taunting another wolf. The Arshigo wolves did not care for the others' actions within sight of their borders and stepped in to help the chased wolf, regardless of it was a loner or low ranked Keva'al member. The clash that resulted sparked an all out war between the packs. The war lasted for many seasons before it finally came to a brutal end with a battle where many, including the Keva'al leader, perished. Arshigo, the victor, told the Keva'al to move on, forcing them away from their northern homes. Keva'al, now with the son of their leader in charge, left with a final threat that they would return and exact their revenge on Arshigo and anyone that stood in their way. After the broken pack departed, the Arshigo wolves made a decision to keep to themselves, never interfering with what went on outside their territories. Generations passed, then a clan of lynx and another pack moved into the open areas of the northern territories. The lynx called themselves the Levisaer. They were a friendly lot, always curious about their neighbors. They often made attempts to make friends with the Arshigo pack, but the wolves refused because of what had happened in the past. The new pack was called Dirac. They were a mischevious sort who enjoyed pulling pranks on anyone, from the Levisaer clan, to the Arshigo pack, to wandering loners. Fun and games were their thing, though from time to time their jokes would go too far. The lands of the Keva'al were left abandoned, as no one ever chose to claim them as their own. That is, until one day, when a few strangers wandered into the northern lands unseen. Though small in numbers, the Keva'al pack had returned after many generations of exhile. Only recently known by the other residents of the lands, they plot and prepare for their day, their time to strike. An uncertain future lays ahead for all the members of the lands.
