..::Ins and Outs:..

General Personality: Horus is a very kind god, when he needs to be. Otherwise, he is very quiet, but this is because he is worried he will never amount to his father, Osiris, potential. His mother, Isis, says that no matter how mean Osiris is, he really does care for Horus.

Horus also rules the sky. He believes in what his father says and does not question him. Isis believes Horus is a fine god, and he thanks her for it. He appears young and foolish at times, but when it is time to be serious, he will be or he dare to upset his father. He and Anubis don't exactly see eye to eye on certain topics, but they do respect one another.

Strengths: Horus is a master of fighting in the air, because he is master of the sky. Also, Horus is descended from Ra, so he has some of his power.
Weaknesses: Horus, because he is young, is very reckless. Also, because his left eye is missing, Horus's vision is not good.

..::Before and Now::..

Family:
Osiris- Father
Isis- Mother
Anubis- Brother
Thoth- Friend
Ma'at- Friend
Set- Uncle
History: Horus was born to the God and Goddess of Dead, Osiris and Isis, who were brother and sister. After Osiris was murdered by his brother, Set, Isis gathered the pieces of Osiris's body. Thoth, the God of the Moon, then gave Isis the spells to bring Osiris back to life. Together with her son, Anubis, they were able to bring Osiris back as a god. After having intercourse together, Isis became impregnated with Horus.

Horus was born as a god, but was raised by humans in Egypt, to protect him from Set. When he grew old enough, Horus soon waged war on Set, to get revenge on him for killing his father, Osiris. The battle continued for a long time, and during the battle Horus's left eye was lost. However, in the end, Horus prevailed and Set was killed in the battle. After that, Horus was mysteriously killed by an unknown assiliant. Isis had Anubis resurrect Horus, and it was then that he became God of the Sky. He now works in the Underworld leading the dead spirits to Osiris, but only after they have survived the perils of it.

Sample Roleplay: The assassain got five pints of beer handed to him. He lifted the glass to his lips and began drinking. He then stopped as he sensed someone looking at him. He turned and looked at the person. He then turned back to his beer and began drinking again. He then sensed another person, staring at him. The warrior looked as a rather musclar man approached him and began drinking his pints. The musclar man looked at him and growled. "You got a problem, pal?" The warrior didn't answer, but continued staring at him. The man grew impatient. "Trying to start trouble, huh?" The man punched the warrior in the face, making him fly across the room. The warrior landed in the wall. The room grew silent, except for the man who was laughing. He then went back to drinking the warrior's drinks. The warrior stood, dusted himself off and walked to the man. The man looked at him, but the warrior caught the man by his throat. He lifted him up and began squeezing the life out of the man. "Hey. . . let go!" The man tried to get out of the warrior's grasp, but the warrior kept his grasp. "No, don't! Please!" The warrior ignored the man's pleas, and contined choking him. If this kept up, the man would die. No dared to step in. All eyes were upon the warrior.

Okay, I've just got a few problems that need to be absolved before I approve you.

-Your history clashes with the site plot. It's not accurate, and it clashes with my personal interpretation on how the gods are. I personally have it that these gods are human forms of the real thing, and came down to earth to settle the war. My suggestion to fix this, is if Horus had no idea he was a god until he came here.

-Now, the REAL history of the god Horus (Not here, the god...) also doesn't 100% apply. Here, he isn't undead, and here, he isn't related to any of the gods - taking on human form prevented that. My suggestion to fix this, is to please change the undead son bit. He can still lead to the undead, but please read the cannon list for Horus' character and make the neccessary required changes. Those weren't suggestions.

-You ignored my requirement for needing a three week membership before securing a cannon. I may have to change the availability for others to sign up as the cannon names, because you're not the first. I am however willing to let this rule slide in your case; please supply a good 3 sample posts from scratch, or reposts from other sites - this MUST be your average post length. You have to be a notch better to have a cannon of this magnetude. Minimum average length per post as Horus must be 200 words, or 3 good sized paragraphs.

-Your sample post would be acceptable for an average character, but not for a main site cannon like this. Please re-do this, and polish off your paragraphs, sentence structure, and grammar. Your writing in that post is not as good as I'd like it to be.

-Your sample picture is fine for a with-headdress image, but you need to have one without the headdress on, and describe his REAL face in the description, because he is not a human with a hawk's head here. The hawk head here is a headdress. Really, that kind of mistake could have been prevented if you read the cannon requirements. Your description is not long enough as well.

-You need to have an avatar of the character as him WITHOUT his headdress.

-Your general personality needs to be more rounded, longer, and you cannot state anything about Osiris' personality, namely because it's another cannon, and is NOT portrayed the same way the gods are other places.

I realize that I'm sounding very harsh right now; but I expect more, and have set the bar way higher than I have for the general characters. I can't have people who are not at an expert roleplayer level take on a character that is only built for those whom are experts. Until all of these things are satisfied to my standard, this bio is NOT APPROVED. You can feel free to have a regular character, but Horus for now DENIED.
