Oh, I read Romeo and Juliet too, when we had to choose 4 shakespeare stories. We were supposed to read it last year in class, but my teachers wife's was in the hospital cause they were having a kid. We watched the movie instead.
If I count the fact that silent reading included only classics I read The Turning of the Screw Heart of Darkness Call of the Wild
Only the Call of the Wild was good. I liked the Lord of the flies too.

The books I read in highschool were boring (most of them =P)
These are the ones I remember (some of them in Spanish, which is my first language):
1. Uncle's Tom's Cabin-kids version 2. Pilgrim Progress 3. Don Quijote 4. Macbeth 5. Hamlet 6. Azul 7. Tha Prince 8. Cuentos escritos en el exilio 9. Si la mar fuera de tinta 10. So many books I don't remember
Geez, I read Tuck Everlasting. That's the most depressive book ever (well, when I read it )
