So last night I had the strangest dream that turned into a nightmare.
I think it stemmed from Sunday's play where it seemed like I had locked my vehicle all day yet everytime I went to it, the alarm was off meaning the doors were all unlocked leaving whatever markers I had inside, unprotected.

Anyway my dream consisted of me visiting a friend somewhere the day before a big pump day/game somewhere. So I was fully loaded with most of my pump markers. Everything is fine until I get back to my vehicle to head out to the event I was going to. In which I find my rear passenger side door wide open. As if I had left it like that all night long :wow:
It takes me a few seconds to realize what may be wrong. Soon I go through my stuff and realize alot of my stuff has been gone through and most of my prides & joys are gone!
I terrible sadness starts to set in and I can only blame myself for a)not locking my vehicle, b)not closing one of the doors leaving an invitation to take whatever is inside. I'm not really sure what went from there but I know when I woke up it took me a few seconds to realize it was just a bad dream.

I've lost and had stolen some very precious markers before. (some of you know) In the end you can't really do much about missing/stolen stuff. You gotta go on, and if your lucky you can replace what you lost.

I hope nothing like that happens to anyone I know. Just thought it was strange to have that dream.

i hate those type of nightmares where they feel so real. I am quick to take my camera out of my truck, but its not until later i realized that I still left my paintball guns in my truck. I think we take that for granted, but any given moment someone could break into our cars.

Speaking of paintball nightmares, I've had three re-occurring types the past couple of years.

The first type was about actually making it out to the paintball field, but getting ready was taking so long that I missed out on playing due to weather, people started leaving, or it was too late and the field was closing.

The second type was not having all my equipment on me, so I had to run back home to pick it up, but after that, I couldn't find my way back to the field, the weather turned bad, or it was too late and the field was closing.

The third type is when I'm at the field and I need to buy paint. The only problem is that there is no more paint available, or the paint is in terrible shape like super shrunken and dimpled, or the paint is in crappy shapes like eggs, squares, and even triangles. What I tried once was driving out to a store to buy paint, but then I can't find my way back to the field, the weather turned bad, or it took so long that it was too late and the field was closing.

It's been said that "Success always comes when preparation meets opportunity." I hate being unprepared. Obviously, I have issues...

Nightmares are usually symbolic of stresses in life. Not being able to find my way back can be symbolic of how life moves forward and there is no going back on an opportunity that was missed. Weather is unpredictable, which can mean that conditions can occur where an opportunity is no longer available. Opportunities in life can often occur in small windows of time, under certain conditions, and in certain places. If you aren't prepared, you may never have that opportunity again. With me, I think it's about learning to let go and moving onto the next opportunity, but making sure I'm doing all I can to be prepared for the next time it comes.

I've had theft in nightmares before similar to yours, and from what I remember, it was because I wasn't paying attention enough to something important to me that I was taking for granted, or was sidetracked and not giving it enough attention.
