So I was asked if a Pay it Forward type of thread could be useful.
I'm personally on the fence myself.
It's both a good idea and a bad idea. Since we're mostly local to eachother at this time. It could work if we make exchanges in person, like at a field or maybe the giver/receiver live near each other or at a bar
I'm open to the suggestion and if the majority are interested, then We can do it. Rules of course will need to be established. That's one of the hardest parts of starting something new, making rules.

So Please Vote and Discuss your thoughts on the subject.

I'd rather just keep it friendly.

Like if i know you, or thad, or whoever needs a screw or something i have, i'll just let them have it.

...on a kinda related note, anyone wanna let me borrow a cocker valve tool? :P

I've got one you can use. I'm playing this weekend if you want to meet up at velocity, or I can drive down to your place

on the pay it forward thing, I don't know. Is it necessary? I think we are already willing to give each other most anything we need

totally - maybe if someone is in dire need, just post up and ask if anybody has it and can bring it to the field when next they meet up

Ya know so far this has been about you guys and taking care of each others needs. How about collecting stuff you don't really need any more and finding some new kid at the field and hooking him up? improve his gear? help him improve his game? donate a weekend to hold a pump clinic no charge? they bring there gear their paint and you guys supply all the information and playing stills you have, show them how to use their gear. what gear will help them. show off all the mods you guys do to your guns. and maybe it could turn into a money making project to help you with tournament costs. As far as being (local) I lived in LA for some years working for TASO playing ball with people like Earon Carter, knew Dave Youngblood before he ever became DYE. Now I live in AZ and read your site all the time. Time and time again I have just walked up to some young kid and handed him a barrel and said try this, and at the end of the day when he comes up and says thank you that was the best his gun ever shot I would say keep it. and make his day and bring him deeper into the game we all love. We've learned over the years now it's time to teach to the younger ones. That is what I feel pay it forward means....

Necro-Post LOL

I totally agree with you. Which is why this was a poll. It didn't really get anywhere and I wasn't a big fan of it. To many online scammers - not on our forum (that I know of LOL)
