| added in 3 man, sweet and some nice cash prizes I'm definitely liking this league |
| Posted by: Jongki13 Sep 8 2009, 11:37 PM |
| very interesting.... |
| Posted by: Demonio Sep 8 2009, 11:42 PM |
| 3-man is a beginner division for those wanting to check out a pump only tourney without taking on more experienced teams. They don't even have to own a pump marker to play, cause Check-it will provide them with one to play with. It's a pretty cool idea. |
| Posted by: A Bullet2Die4 Sep 9 2009, 09:32 AM |
| How do they determine "Beginner"? |
| Posted by: Demonio Sep 9 2009, 09:43 AM |
| Now that's a good question. But there was a question asked on PBN about it and answered. You know you'd be exempt from playing the 3-man cause I'm sure someone would recognize you from Vegas. |

| Play in disguise or something. Make a team and have everyone dress up in jeans and a sweater, use rental-style masks, and shoot SL-68s. It'd be like a walk-on rentals team! |
| Posted by: Demonio Sep 9 2009, 12:15 PM |
| I guess you can do that - you just go out there dressed like that with no gun. Use one of the Check-it V2's (I'm guessing that's what they'll use) Festa- You did say you wanted to try out a tournament right. This is the perfect opportunity. |
| Posted by: Festa Sep 9 2009, 12:21 PM |
Don't think I'm not thinking about it. Depends on funds at the time because I've got a private game two weeks before. ![]() correction: the weekend prior. |
| Posted by: Demonio Sep 9 2009, 02:49 PM |
| You should totally do it. You know you wanna give it a go. I think you got some good game. |
| Posted by: The Pin-Up Sep 9 2009, 03:38 PM |
| I HAVE TO PLAY THIS ITS THE DAY BEFORE MY B-DAY!!!! |
| Posted by: r90t Sep 9 2009, 06:31 PM |
| Per OSOKO on MCB, I posted this and OSOKO said...... I am the perfect 3 man player Out of tournaments for several years, and willing to bring some non-tourny players along with me. I think I may have 1 or 2 more tournaments in me. |
| Posted by: Demonio Sep 9 2009, 07:56 PM |
| Cool - Go for it. Would be cool to see some of the TPG pump community out there playing. |
| Posted by: stimpy Sep 9 2009, 08:03 PM |
| i want to play with manny ...in the tournament, of course; why, what were you thinking? dirty |
| Posted by: Rodger Sep 10 2009, 10:45 AM |
| I'm interested in playing in the beginner 3-man division. I've never played a tournament before. |

| Posted by: Demonio Sep 23 2009, 04:41 PM | ||
That would be great if you can make it out for this. It's gonna be a good one. I was at the field this past weekend and it was very nice. Pro quality field. It's gonna be fun for sure. |
| Posted by: r90t Sep 23 2009, 08:48 PM |
| Anyone have a line on good paint in San Diego?? I've been getting all of my ultra evil or ultra marbs up in LA....kinda far to drive now. |
| Posted by: Demonio Sep 23 2009, 09:23 PM |
| I can ask, I think PB Gateway may be selling ultra evil. I'm not 100% sure about that. |
| Posted by: r90t Sep 24 2009, 11:55 AM |
| No one carries it in San Diego??? Rumor has it that Hinman might have some up in Escondido. |
| Posted by: Demonio Sep 24 2009, 12:03 PM | ||
You'd think someone would. Knowing the demand for quality, but as we all know. Not everyone understands that type of need. |
| Posted by: Demonio Sep 24 2009, 01:25 PM | ||
Rob- You can pre-order paint through Allan. PB Gateway will have Ultra Evil for sale for this event. $35 a case pre-order price |
| Posted by: Ryan Sep 24 2009, 02:36 PM |
| actually Giant at Barona does or at least used to carry it, but i doubt they go through it fast enough for it to be even slightly fresh |
| Posted by: r90t Sep 24 2009, 06:33 PM | ||||
Would it be suspicious if I preordered 10 cases for a pump tournament?? That should lasdt for a few months. |
| Posted by: Tyler Sep 24 2009, 07:50 PM |
| Im excited. TPKs first tourny |
| Posted by: Demonio Sep 24 2009, 08:13 PM | ||||||
Give a shout out to OsokoAllan and see if that's cool. I might wanna order some extra's myself. |
| Posted by: big oak Sep 28 2009, 05:58 PM |

Awesome-Sauce!! Just need one more and your good to go. |
| Posted by: The Pin-Up Sep 28 2009, 08:31 PM |
| So we will have 2 teams or 3? |
| Posted by: Demonio Sep 28 2009, 08:53 PM | ||
?? you may be a bit confused - I'm trying to get enough for a 2nd team. Right now it's just 1 TPG team in Maybe you meant the kidz? they are playing the beginner 3-man div. |
| Posted by: stimpy Sep 28 2009, 08:58 PM | ||||||

Here's what the Field Layout will be: |
| Posted by: stimpy Sep 30 2009, 12:09 PM |
| carwash looks like the place to be |
| Posted by: r90t Sep 30 2009, 12:57 PM | ||
Carwash or same side dorito. Also, 1st knuckle of hte snake looks good if it is truly laid out like this. Looks like you can shoot out most of the other side of the field. |
| Posted by: Demonio Sep 30 2009, 02:39 PM | ||||
the cake or the blue juice box |
| Posted by: Tyler Oct 4 2009, 05:26 PM |
| when does the entry fee need to be paid by? need to know asap |
| Posted by: Demonio Oct 4 2009, 05:37 PM | ||
I'm pretty sure the 25th of October. 7 days prior to an event is generally the norm. |
| Posted by: big oak Oct 4 2009, 05:52 PM |
| i am still looking for more players lost two because they are taking there kids trick or treating and we have to leave that morning to drive there |
| Posted by: Tyler Oct 4 2009, 05:59 PM |
| okay, i probably wont be practicing next weekend then so i have money to pay. i dont have to pay for air and all that right? |
| Posted by: Demonio Oct 4 2009, 06:06 PM | ||||
How many do you have right now?
Air is included. I think you'll just need paint. Which they're selling at $35 a case - you can get away with splitting one case between the 3 of you |
| Posted by: Tyler Oct 4 2009, 06:15 PM |
| sounds good. should we give you the entry fee or will allan be at pump day? |
| Posted by: Rodger Oct 5 2009, 10:23 AM | ||
I bought ultra marbs at Pev's near SDSU. Todd orders five cases each shipment. If you call, they will tell you when it's coming it. |
| Posted by: r90t Oct 5 2009, 09:31 PM |
| Thanks. Just picked up a case in LA this weekend. Blue swirl shell, nasty yellow fill. Hopefully this will be a bit more brittle than that old stuff I shot last pump day. |
| Posted by: big oak Oct 7 2009, 07:06 PM |
| look like were not going to make it after all oh well theres osc 2010 |
| Posted by: Demonio Oct 26 2009, 05:09 PM | ||
that blows. THere's the WCPPL 4-man 2 weeks later..... |
| Posted by: Tyler Oct 26 2009, 05:32 PM |
| 3-man is center flag also right? And when it says 10 round tubes, does that go for everyone? |
| Posted by: Demonio Oct 26 2009, 05:40 PM | ||
yes and yes. You kidz need to pick up 18 10-round tubes. I'd recommend getting a few extra's just in case some get lost. (6 per player) |
| Posted by: Tyler Oct 26 2009, 07:48 PM |
| well, if our hoppers hold close to 60, then we dont need any tubes right? or are we aloud to carry a full hopper, and then 60 paint? |
| Posted by: Demonio Oct 26 2009, 08:18 PM | ||
You need the tubes to confirm that you only have 60 rounds (easiest way for Refs to know what you are carrying) You can dump the paint from the tubes into your hopper after the refs confirm your paint with you before you walk on the field. If you want to, you can give some of your paint to your back player (if you have one designated for that position) so they can lay down more paint for your movements. But the tubes are still necessary for proof of how much you have on you.. |
| Posted by: Tyler Oct 27 2009, 06:17 AM |
| Oh okay. Does Velocity Poway sell em? |
| Posted by: Demonio Oct 27 2009, 12:45 PM |

We got the crap shot out of us yesterday, but it was a good day. Saw old friends, played with the usual suspects, and got to meet new pumpers. We have a standing invitation aet Hollywood Sports on Sundays from one of the 3 man teams there to come up and have a good day of ballin. |
| Posted by: Festa Nov 2 2009, 10:17 AM |
| Anyone have the results for the beginner's division? |
| Posted by: Demonio Nov 2 2009, 01:22 PM |
| Beginners results: 1: Buddah Heads 2: Ronin 3: LA Centurions 4: NRS |
| Posted by: Tyler Nov 2 2009, 07:51 PM |
| Definately was a good day for us. Can't wait for the next set of tourneys. All of us were nervous before that first game against NRS, but when we max'd them that fired us up for the rest of the day. |
| Posted by: Demonio Nov 2 2009, 08:10 PM | ||
That's called a "Max" or you "Max'd" them by getting the maximum points |
