A Little Pole for the Peanut Gallery: As mentioned very recently, AFP and TPG are going to be teaming up together to put on a Streetball style Event in 2012. If you happened to attend one of AFP's Union Days then you may know what we're looking into. Even though it's not really a tourney, it is tourney type play - Teams will be pulled from a hat/mask/pod randomly. What I/we need to figure out, is where would be the best location to get the best turnout. Also your input on reasons why you chose any specific field. Does Convenience Beat out Quality? |

I voted ASG cause it's pretty damn nice but the Ranch is awesome too. CP is nice but I can't get in cause I'm Mexican and don't have Auto Insurance =))

Got to Hit up The Ranch in Whittier yesterday for the Kamandag BBQ and fun play day. It was a pretty good field even for dirt and a few patch's of turf. Which was strategically placed so it was pretty good, and the dirt was smooth and had some decent slide to it. I still wonder how many made it out, it was a pretty big turnout. It might actually be a really good place for a tourney style - Streetball setup. One field so nobody can get lost. They even let a Huge Private BBQ go down. That was pretty cool too, everyone had a blast yesterday.
then your vehicle must be un-register'd too? My Ins reports me to the dmv when I get overly past due on a payment. I've been threatend with registration cancellation...... Not like the good old days :old: when you didn't even need insurance to own a vehicle and have it register'd. Now you need ins for everything even to get your license (poor kids these days....) |

I have to say ASG for their turf field. I played at a tourney at TCP and their turf is so uneven... I took the fifty off the break and did a superman slide and my knee hit a piece of hard packed dirt under the turf mid-slide... that one hurt. Never been to the Ranch but it looks cool too.
