I'm looking for a new ASA for my Orracle. I want direct mount with the macro entering through the front and prefer it to be an on/off.
if that didn't make sense, then something this only not $55 and made by bob long; (Posted Image) |

Ryan,
I have an old dye that is similiar to this without an on/off; just screw the tank in. someone makes one with an on/off; maybe smartparts. |

I dont recall if it's a direct mount, but what about the one that came with the DP G3?

the smart parts one is really rough on tank threads, lots of galling
The DP one requires a rail. |

Andi just remembered that asa didn't come out through the front/center.
Damn man, i've been looking. I can't find anything in stock that actually fits all your criteria. |

I recommend the Warrior Paintball ASA. It's everything you just mentioned minus being direct-mount.
http://www.ansgear.com/Warrior_Paintball_A...Rails_s/356.htm You can find them on Ebay or pretty much anywhere else. |

at that price it may be worth sacrificing the direct mount. We'll see, I want to do a little more looking first
ok, new thing, there was a company a little while back that put out a rail that was like 1/4 thick. Anyone remember who that was? This post has been edited by Ryan on Oct 28 2009, 04:07 PM |

yeah, i saw it and it would be perfect with the rail Manny found if not for the fact those bastards at Exalt designed their rail to pretty much work with only their on/off.

you could drill an extra hole on the rail. If your using a CCM frame you already have extra holes for mounting that are threaded. Then just drop a screw in one of the holes and lock it down.

Exalt?
When i click that link it takes me to a macdev ASA. Maybe there's something funky going on, but i think macdev makes the product you are looking for. |
