Robert Garrison sent this report: While I was waiting in line to get into the building, a door opened next to where I was standing, and Brian Kendrick popped his head out for a moment to look around. Ron Killings was standing behind him. Killings never appeared on the show, though.
In a dark match before ECW, Kendrick defeated Funaki. Kendrick came out and introduced a new 2nd, a large man dressed in all white. I have no idea who he was, but facially I thought he resembled the late Bad News Allen. The 2nd distracted Funaki just long enough for Kendrick to roll him up from behind for the pin.
When the announcers were introduced before ECW, I thought it was interesting that they introduced Taz "with Mike Adamle". They both came out at the same time to Taz's old music and video. I guess putting the emphasis on Taz is an attempt to keep the fans from booing Adamle.

What You Didn't See On Raw Last Night |

Jim Duggan defeated Matt Striker.
Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase defeated Paul London and D'Lo Brown. D'Lo got a huge pop. Good match overall, though.
After RAW went off the air, Cena got up and said New Orleans deserved more than that. He said he lived here for a while and thought that these people were most proud of where they live. JBL came out and said the United States didn't care about New Orleans. He ran in and Cena FU'ed him, everyone cheered, and he left.

WWE Looking To Start Taping Smackdown Live |
| Posted by Cena/HHH_#1fan - 07-4-08 00:20 - 1 comments |
 |
Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com is reporting that the WWE is considering the idea of taping Smackdown live once a month preceding pay per views once they switch to MyNetworkTV.
Although the company has not signed off on this completely, they will be airing Smackdown live on Friday, April 4th, in Houston, Texas. That, of course, is the weekend of WrestleMania.
If this did take place, then once a month, Smackdown would air live the Friday leading into the Sunday's live pay per view, ending with the regular live Raw taping on Monday.

After Raw went off the air, John Cena and Triple H tagged up to face Umaga and JBL. Randy Orton was advertised, but obviously with his broken left collarbone, the match was changed.

How The 'Million Dollar Giveaway' Will Work |
| Posted by Cena/HHH_#1fan - 06-3-08 11:53 - 1 comments |
 |
The Associated Press published a story this morning that included new details regarding Vince McMahon's "Million Dollar Mania" giveaway. Here are the details:
- The promotion begins next week on RAW (June 9).
- For a chance to win a part (but not all) of the $1 million, viewers must pre-register on WWE.com and then watch the beginning of "Raw" each week to receive a special code, which viewers must tell McMahon if he calls them during the live broadcast.
- The code will change each week of the promotion and will not be revealed until the beginning of each episode.
- The cash will be given away as part of a "lengthy promotional sweepstakes", McMahon and the WWE told The Associated Press.
- "People can view this as my own version of an economic stimulus plan to benefit our viewers," McMahon told The Associated Press.

Smackdown vickie/edge storyline spoiler??? |

At the WWE stockholders meeting two weeks ago, one stockholder complained about the Edge & Vickie Guerrero storyline on SmackDown to Vince McMahon. The stockholder asked where WWE was going to draw the line on it. In what appears to be a hint to where it's going, McMahon said that it was a love and relationship story, but that it may not turn out like one in the end. McMahon then went on a tangent saying how in real life, everyone isn't all good or evil, but rather, shades of gray.

JR messed up and calls is the Pepsi Arena instead of the Pepsi Center. The Pepsi Arena used to be in Albany, NY but they sold the name rights last year so it's now called the Times Union Center. The Pepsi CENTER is where they were last night. He mentions that the show is sold out.
Vince McMahon is on the tron. Last week, Regal got what he deserved. But are we getting what we deserve? We deserve the action, the excitement and the drama. And we deserve appreciation. And he will show us appreciation. He has an idea. He wants ideas from our Superstars too. Before the show is over, he will show us appreciation even if it means he has to do something that's never been done before in the hi ...read more |
