Even having chosen a class and element, choosing the J'eangel or Kaemon alignment determines the skill tree which one will follow. One could study a little of both, but it is mandatory to choose a primary, and thus will eventually lead the characters actions towards the path of good or evil. Since ancient times, with the first people whom discovered their special abilities, they are divided into those whom wish to do good, or let themselves be corrupted by evil.

J'eangel would be considered the paragon or light side. When one chooses to train in this art, all of their abilities are complemented with altercations that would not cause harm. These lead to non-combat talents, bonuses to other abilities, or complementive skills. For example, a J'eangel Mind Sage might gain the ability to read minds, or converse with telepathic skill. Perhaps a J'eangel Ice Protector might gain the ability to conjure shields of ice or snow. The eventual whisper of the J'eangel code fills the heart with happiness, peace, and hope.

Kaemon, to the contrary, are the renegade or dark side. In this art the abilities are harmful and can produce devastating results if not trained properly. All skills in this area are meant to cause damage or create chaos in the environment. A Kaemon Steel Weaponmaster might have the ability to forge swords and blades at sheer will. Even a Kaemon Wind Warrior could muster the strength to conjure a massive increase in wind velocity to hamper its target. Mastering a single skill in this category taints the heart with a drop of cruelty, darkness, and hate.
