The worst one is "maneuver." Maybe it's only the Brits that do this one, but whatever the alternative spelling is, it's absolutely ridiculous.

With alternate spellings I believe that as long as you can understand it, it's fine.

It was 25C the last time I was down there in November, my cousin was bundled up in sweaters while my dad and I took a swim in their pool.

EDIT: Then again, this could just be those from LA, Iunno about back-country Californians.

How long did you live in CA Boyd? Ohio weather may have helped your immunity if you've been here long enough.

9 years there, 10 here. Ohio's weather never really bothered me until after my surgery though. Now 40F is enough to make my chest hurt ><

It usually takes it being something like 5 degrees for me to realize it's actually cold, and I don't ever shiver unless something is heightening my feeling. Surprisingly enough, my senses are all hyper-attuned, but I'm relatively immune to temperature. When I was five I ran out into the snow, with only one boot on, a pair of shorts, and I don't think I was wearing a shirt. Or so my parents tell me, anyway. I made a snowman beforer they realized and rushed me inside.

Also, nobody can tell when I have a fever 'cuz I always feel warmer than most people. almost 99 degrees is pretty standard for me (98.7ish is what the thermometer told me thursday when I last checked). If it's freezing, I give someone my arm(if I'm wearing a t-shirt, or I roll up the shirt) and they're all 'WHY ARE YOU SO WARM?!' So yeah.

I've never felt temperatures lower than 18°C ;3;

So I dunno how good my tolerance for cold is. It's probably not too horrible for an islander though; I'm pretty comfy at temperatures that my classmates would complain at. I imagine it's because my body is well insulated <<;;
