Oops, I phrased that badly D8 I know what instant karma is, I just think that the whole 'be nice to someone and they'll be nice to you' is what the idea is based on, but it goes no further than that. The unrelated events thing makes no sense, or does it randomly favour people? If karma was in motion, people would learn to be good, and act that way by default. How would you explain corruption in a world where karma rules? Personally, I don't like the idea of karma, for the same reasons as Satty - but also if you go deeper into the sense of the word, and involve past incarnations, I think it's disgusting to blame someone's misfortune on the actions of a past life. |
