I think it's interesting that Alex was supposed to be battling soldiers coming from Lalivero, but came back just to heal Jenna...

I have to wonder how it plays out offscreen. Does Kraden sling the fainted Jenna over his shoulders, dump her in front of the lighthouse then run off toward Lalivero yelling for Alex? And Alex apparently cared enough to come back and help.

I know, it had to be done that way for gameplay reasons, but storyline wise, it's interesting...

Well, he probably didn't know Jenna had fallen in battle, and would've happened upon her and Kraden at the same place and time as where and when he would've passed through while traveling to Idejima, the place where he did expect Jenna and Kraden to be at to begin with. I think it's one of those things where he wrapped up his holding off of Tolbi soldiers at Lalivero as usual, then started out for Idejima as usual and as was previously arranged, but found a downed Jenna on the road likely to his surprise. Of course he and Kraden would decide to bring her back to Venus Lighthouse's exit away from the Ruffians blocking the path to Idejima, and after he heals her he tells Jenna and Kraden for them to try their Idejima escape plan again. Seems pretty straightforward, and that's why I don't detect any shipping appeal there. :/

See, I'm going by how everyone looks on the poster, what element they display (as the official art displays their innate element) and then trying to figure out Isaac, because my predictive model falls apart with the one who looks like him. Unless there's an NPC female Venus Adept he goes off with, because that's about the only way my predictive model would fit Robin otherwise.

ERGO I'm going with the 2 hypotheses that have backing evidence in the game. Isaac/Jenna and Isaac/Feizhi.

But Feizhi only has backing evidence IF you did all the linked game events surrounding her (got Force the first time, saw the event in the Kung Fu school, helped Hsu, went back and saw the final event, and then got the Golden Ring in Champa). Jenna has evidence regardless, which makes her more likely, unless they do something where if you linked up those events, he could end with Feizhi.

Also, we only have it from Feizhi's side in the game. Isaac definitely has concerns for Jenna, and Jenna for Isaac, so it's more mutual on that side of things.

I still think that / feels far mor natural.
