Ulta - small ways from Gehenna, woodsy area.

Ulta had somehow managed to acquire a suitably long, thick stick of wood, and was shaping it with his sword, somehow. He had had himself and Kiara stop their movements for the day a while ago, and had begun work almost immediately, lost in the wood. It wasn't actually that the Venusian had found one suitable piece of wood - but many. He'd marked an X on several and tossed them into a pile to be turned into firewood already. UltaFlame was careful - and more than a little of his Venus Psynergy had gone into both testing and creating his staff. But the Venusian wasn't satisfied yet. He slid his hand down the staff, Psynegy glowing and shaping the wood, smoothing it out.

It would take a long time, and this staff probably wouldn't be the last he'd attempt, but UltaFlame liked his staves well-made. A proper Quarterstaff wouldn't be easily sliced through, and wouldn't easily break. It was tough to find wood like that just anywhere, and then having it keep was another difficulty in itself.

Kiara couldn't possibly see their adventure getting done fast. Or done at all. Searching for a Djinn? And more than that, a Mercury or Mars Djinn, specifically? What were they to do, force one from it's Adept? Or did Ulta's 'Madam Sunruner' expect them just to grow on trees, or from stalks, or sprout from the Kraden-damned muddy earth every freaking time it rained?! Kiara didn't know. But she knew she wouldn't be able to return to Mars without beind hounded until she was properly forgotten, By both UltaFlame, the fool Venusian with a Martian-implicative name, or the Lunarian freaking Head Artificer. To get this adventure over and done with as fast as was possible, Kiara was practicing.

She like big, flashy explosions when she fought. Burst-type psynergy was her area of specialty, though she dabbled in other sorts of psynergy. When it came to fights, though, she found herself mostly relying upon her swords. She carried two of them, and they were no mere threat in her hands, as, unlike most in the world, she was able to wield either sword with any hand with equivalent skill. But if she was to have this adventure end fast, she'd need a particular Psynergy that was no easy task to learn, or so she thought, despite that there was a variation for damned-nearly every single Clan.

Kiara wanted to learn how to teleport. And so, that's what she was doing. She was calming herself, meditating, and trying to figure out the intricacies of Martian Teleportation. That first night, things weren't going well.

[The Phantom Squee]

Squee had been eyeing Jackal's pet nervously the whole ride. He had considered trying to pet it, but then figured that any animal that got along with Jackal was probably not something he wanted to put his fingers near, even gauntleted as they were.

As they disembarked, he slung the halberd over his shoulder, resting it there easily.

"Where to first? Ground zero of the attack, I presume?"

[Sunny-chan]

Rastil & Nikita

"You may be quick, but don't forget that most Politicians work at a pace reserved for algae." Rastil snerked.

"Are you asking something of us specifically, Riffer, or merely making conversation to justify the existence of your new empire?" That got Nikita a quiet, pointed look from her partner, but the sultry woman merely shrugged off his concern and smiled back at Grim.

"Want me to make you something?" Sunny asked, because she couldn't think of anything to really do or say right now.

[Kamen Rider Grim]

"Pardon my saying so," he said, "but your Clan is stretched to her limits, no? Asking a favor of you would be... well, it'd be downright rude right now. You're already juggling five swords on a tightrope over a lava pit. One missed catch and it's over. You don't need to juggle in a request of mine." He sighed. "No, no, I'm merely chatting. It is, as I'd say, the regal prerogative."

He sighed and sat down. "As for the regular pace at which politicians work... maybe politicians need to start playing gigs in bars with thirty or forty boozed-up angry drunks. Oughta quicken 'em up."

[Blissfulystoopid]

"Yes, I find that in my absence, I'm woefully uninformed. I haven't been following politics quite so much as a faithful clan member should." Cleros looked away slightly sheepishly.

He was excited to be out and about again, that's for sure, but he wasn't quite sure what exactly that meant.

[Jackal]

Jackal nodded.

"Apparently, the school was destroyed after a crystal burst through it.
That's where we're headed."

[ReidAlvein]

"It is very simple. What we want to do is let Jupiter know that we are about to attack Luna, we need to know whether or not they will help us or they will stay neutral. As soon as you've got an answer, whether they send a signed letter or not, we will begin to make our preparations." Reid paused to catch his breath, wondering how were things with Mercury.

"I guess I can trust this to you, second in command, Kiki?"

[Sunny-chan]

Rastil & Nikita, Vault

"Preferable, but ultimately unlikely." Rastil commented gruffly, finished with his plate and folding his arms over his broad chest as they continued their conversation.

"I wonder though, not about the politicians, but this relationship between Symphonia and Luna..." Nikita purred, still watching the Riffer through her thick eyelashes. "Symphonia may not be able to ask US for assistance, not yet anyways, but what about vice-versa? Luna's no stranger to reciprocity."

[Kamen Rider Grim]

Grim laughed. "Of course. I might not be able to provide much help, but... well, a friend in need is a friend indeed, to pull out an old saw." Inside, he was berating himself over how cheesy that sounded. "And if you have any suggestions as to how, please, don't hesitate to let me know."

[Sunny-chan]

Nikita & Rastil, Vault

The pair shared a look, the smiles vanishing as they seemed to be communicating without actually... communicating. Rastil kept his arms folded, but Nikita adjusted her hands and folded them neatly in her lap, one leg still hooked over the other as she waited for her partner to lift his head and speak.

"Luna has lost territory in the west, and our eastern holdings are under a constant threat now from Venus. We don't know when we're going to be hit next."

"We won't, or rather can't, ask for military support for Symphonia, not yet at least."

"But... Luna suffers from a more pressing matter..." Here, Rastil leaned forward, resting his arms on the table and lowering his voice down to a rumble. It was for the Riffer's ear only.

The King nodded pensively, stroking his stubble. His reply, as well, was in hushed tones, quiet enough that none would hear.
