Sundancer, Sunny's Gorgeous Workshop

Sundancer smiled and stood aside as Sunny walked into her new workshop, though her ears perked up at the mention of Pyra's name. 'I wonder how they are...' She looked over both UltaFlame and Kiara, surprised that they had the courage to walk in here during such a grand scale war. It seemed Pyra had already deemed them trustworthy, so it must be alright. She herself didn't sense any ill intentions from the two, just a certain talkativeness to the Venusian and it seemed his Martian friend was rather exasperated with him. Sun watched the exchanges without comment, not wishing to intrude on the business, though she smiled at the djinn's antics. She petted Clementine a little when it rushed over and started to tug on her, looking down amusedly at the sparkling little thing. "I can see that." she commented quietly, looking around the workshop as well, hearing the high, pure chime in the diamonds Clementine had mentioned beyond the small crystals in her own armor. The hammer's crystals hadn't been worked with yet, of course, and no doubt they would serve Sunny well with many a project.

Sundancer nodded politely to Kiara as she spoke to her. "It's nice to meet you, Kiara. I am Sundancer, Sol's ambassador to Luna. Since our clans have an alliance, it's a little more common for our clans to be in regular correspondance now, of course." she glanced over at her friend and the Venusian, ears twitchy. "Lady Sunny is fine. It really isn't my place to say, I'm sorry, mruuw." she apologized demurely, politely interested in the small talk as she kept an ear turned ever so slightly towards Sunny's conversation. It was bad to eavesdrop, but she was curious as to what the Venusian wanted. How interesting, RyuKenshin's ascension to rule seemed to have created quite a bit of controversy. Sundancer laughed inwardly as she heard Sunny's request for the djinni and saw the three little spirits flutter to her.

Dancer nodded and said farewell to the Martian as she and Ulta left. She turned to Sunny, dropping a little of the almost formal politeness she'd had when the two had been in the workshop. "That was an interesting request. It seems those two will be trying to make a big impact; at least, the Venusian will be, mruuw. You're going to figure out that design, then?"

[Kiki]

“Fine by me,” said Kiki, turning to Gulcasa. “If we can’t get a hold of Chrono Ivan himself, we’ll at least find somebody. Shall we head to the embassy now, General?”

Cleros, who had long managed to remain uninvolved in the war, felt a familiar twinge... a presence at the edge of his mind, a calling. He had long been researching the history of his clanless family. searching through genealogies for a single clanned intermarriage, and never did find a reason as to why he was blessed, or cursed, with his power.

Now, his mind soaked in blood, his family dead, he was a hand of what he considered a dark function to Jupiter, though he had not been called upon for duty, though he considered himself ready.

And now, to meet at the airship docks. How delightfully entertaining. He fastened his Rapier at his side, donned a traveling cloak and cast teleport. He was surrounded in a whirl of color, nearly an assault to the senses, and before he knew it, he was dead center in the airship docks, awaiting further instruction.

Symphonian Diner

"And how," asked Grim, "is there supposed to be peace between myself and them if they refuse to meet with me? If one side doesn't want to talk, how can there be peace? I realize my behavior toward Venus is exemplary of this, and it's meant to be. Right now, I want peace with the Temple, with Luna, and with Jupiter." He drummed his fingers on the table. "I just wish there were a way to convince the Temple of my intentions, but I'm worried that if I set foot in Vale they'll have me killed." He looked at the table. "It's not that the high priest is a bad man - I want diplomatic relations with the man, I don't want to take over his town. But he seems convinced I'm aiming for the latter." Grim frowned; the area he really wanted was Kalay; taking the city would give him a leg up in trade, and would allow him to have more to work with in terms of international influence.

~Winona, Palais Tundra~

Winona put a hand to her chin in thought. "Hm. Madra's in southern Indra, right? And we need to get to Ancardia, which is in Hesperia...Symphonia is probably closer, if we can handle the trip. I've got it! Collin, Mithos, if the two of you pool your energies together, do you think we can get that far?" She put a hand on Collin's shoulder. You can do it, right?" She winked at him, hoping to get the point across. That is, she didn't want it to look like she was using him...she abruptly turned back to Mithos.

"A...crystal? I-I suppose, I mean, I don't see the harm in it..." There was a slight trace of worry in her voice. She knew fully well that it was in fact sentinent; after all, there was that outburst just now, the freeze dragon back in the Training Area...it seemed as if Boyd's spirit wasn't just content to give her power. This was going to be a give and take. "So long as it doesn't impede it's power, I don't have any issues with it." She shrugged. Hey, djinn. Do you think the two of you can get him to settle down in there?

Yeah, because THAT'LL be easy...

~Gulcasa, Prox~

"Very well, Lord Reid. Consider it done." The Proxian gave a slight bow and put on his armor. Grabbing his scythe on the way out, he nodded to Kiki. "Agreed; there's bound to be somebody there. I'm sure this will go smoothly. Once it's done, perhaps I'll try and get in touch with Venus on my own...if RyuKenshin isn't availible, maybe somebody else, like a General, perhaps, may be able to h-wait. Hold." Gulcasa stopped walking and held his arm out in front of Kiki. "I sense...something. Lady Kiki, go on ahead to the Embassy without me; I shall follow shortly. I have buisness to take care of..." Giving her a quick nod, Gulcasa would run off towards the direction of the disturbance.

OOC: No worries, Reid. Having computer troubles anyways >>;;
OOC2: Okay Kiki, I'ma kill Kyuuzai offscreen; you go to the Embassy and meet with Chrono's dudes there and have him take you from there, and I'll catch up.

Sunny, Her Gorgeous Workshop

"If it's possible, then maybe." Sunny answered, still sitting in her scrap-metal chair and tapping her chin thoughtfully. "There's no denying its uses if I could get it to work. One of the main problems with Null is that you have to bring it down before you can cast anything, armor has to be carefully designed not to block chakras and stunt the wearer's psynergy..." Sighing, the worst part about this commission was that she couldn't readily think of a way to get it done without a Jupiter Djinni or Adept to give her an opposite power source. And of course, the thought was enough to send a shiver of revulsion and fear down the Artificer's back.

"Well..." Looking up from her musings, Sunny finally got a good look around her new workspace, smiling a little bit before letting it grow into a grin as she noticed all the things her Djinn had already squeaked and giggled over. Giving a laugh, Sunny kicked her feet on the floor and jumped up, spinning around on her heel towards Sundancer with her hands held out.

"Isn't this great? Look at it- it's huge!"

Rastil & Nikita, Vault.

"Well, just what are your intentions?" Nikita questioned, looking up as their food arrived and giving the young man a winning smile. "Like we've already said, you've come in an siezed nearly all the lands Vale has traditionally held and grown wealthy off of. For all you know, the Priests could be shaking in their habits."

"Or marshalling their papal forces." Rastil grunted, carving off a piece of his steak and chewing thoroughly before speaking again. "Mercury has closed itself off from the world, you won't find a more neutral location to meet with the Priests, get Mercury to allow you to use Imil or one of their Islands for your meeting and see what they say. Put them in one of the Cathedrals to Mia and Piers, give them that advantage and perhaps they'll talk."

"Or, you could always play the innocent pilgrim and just show up in the Temple." Nikita winked at the suggestion, still shamelessly flirting and not getting anywhere with the Riffer, but that didn't stop her from trying as she snapped one of her kebab sticks and dipped the meat in the sauce provided.

[The Phantom Squee]

Finally, after several minutes, Squee showed up at the docks. He hovered up from the land below, looking battered but pleased with himself. A few scratches were visible here and there, but most evident were several burn marks and soot stains all over his coat.

"Sorry about the wait," he said, out of breath. Remembering after a moment that Jackal was the Second now, he saluted with Eidolon, now forged into the form of a halberd--Squee never had been able to decide on one weapon for long. His room contained a small fortune in polearm weapons, the nicest arranged in wall racks.

"Well then. Ready to go whenever you are. Er, sir."

She nodded as she listened to her friend. "I'm sure you'll find a way." she said, cat ears flicking as Sunny jumped up. She hid her giggles and just smiled as she watched the artificer spin around the beautiful new workshop. "It's quite wonderful. Looks like you'll be very comfortable here." she said, herself looking around again. "Of course, you'll probably have many more commissions too."

[Kiki]

"Alright, I'll see you later, General." Kiki nodded as Gulcasa left, and then turned to Reid at his desk.

"Okay, Reid, I don't want to screw this up, so what is the issue with Jupiter? What do we need to know from them, and what do we need to tell them?"

OOC: I've got an alright idea of what's going on in the RP, but I'd better clear it up, especially since my character has no IC knowledge...sorry

Grim knocked back his drink. "The problem," he said, "is that all I want is recognition of my country as something legitimate, a chance to sit with world leaders at their table, and - and I'll admit, I'm being a little greedy with the last one - Kalay. I mean, I don't see why Venus should hold world trade so firmly in their grasp." He paused, then lowered his voice. "Don't tell anyone, but I'm thinking of flooding the TTC tunnels in Symphonia and claiming it's a removal of foreign military interests from my soil. I was considering just collapsing them a couple days back, but my Chief Advisor talked me out of it, said it would be a PR disaster with the rest of the world. Plus it'd probably cave in a few houses in Vault and all that."

Rastil & Nikita

"You certainly don't waste time." Rastil noted, chowing down through the first half of his steak, but managing to not look like an oaf as he did so.

"But the Temple is a much slower institution than the Clans. The High Priests may not have even read your letters yet." They all knew this was highly unlikely, but the point stood that Vale's clergy couldn't sneeze without some sort of accompanying ceremony.

"But Kalay? Getting a little ahead of ourselves, aren't we?"

"That's a solid economic center, second only to Tolbi. The world knows Vale has always wanted it as part of the Neutral core, but what makes you think RyuKenshin will let Symphonia hold it instead?"

Sunny

"Speaking of which, did you and Isk have a reason for coming to see me? I'm not complaining, it was just surprising to see you in a torture chamber s'all."

[Sundancer]

Sundancer, SGW

"Actually, we were just worried about you. Isk said he sensed you in there with Necare, so naturally... We assumed the worst." She shook her head, remembering the scene they'd walked in on. "I hope you don't mind that we barged in, mruuw."

[Kamen Rider Grim]

"I'm a rock star who clawed his way from the bottom rungs of a Clan. I learned how to be ruthless, I learned how to be innovative, and I learned how to be goddamn quick. There's few things that teach you the penalties of tardiness better than a fistful of angry fans demanding you start a show, or scrambling because the audience demands an encore and you have no idea what the [radio edit] to play for 'em. As for Kalay, no, I don't expect to get it. Not unless something amazing happens. I just don't think that RyuKenshin should control most of Angaran commerce." He paused, scooping a healthy amount of salsa onto a chip and taking a bite. "Also, I've found that Welcome Home is a good crowd-pleaser if you give a certain concert. The Geotica song, not whatever song you might be thinking. It's been my fall-back song for years."

[Blissfulystoopid]

Cleros examined his surroundings and finally spotted Squee and Jackal in the distance. Luckily, they had not seen him, and he was able to make out Squee saluting with his weapon, a pleasant reminder that Jackal had become Clan Second.

He gathered himself mentally with a slight pull at his inner power, and quickly cast warp, appearing beside Squee. In one fluid motion, he withdrew his Rapier, Oathreaver, brought it to a salute with a bit of a flourish (what fun was respect without style?) and bowed.

"Reporting for Duty, and extending apologies for my extended vacation. My issues and personal mission are fully resolved. The Malisium family is no more."

[Jackal]

PK was the first to arrive, followed by Squee, who had the gall to salute
to him. Jackal made a throat-slitting motion to tell him to cut out the
stupidity when Cleros appeared and did the same thing. Jackal just
glared at the two of them.

"...Whatever, fools," He began, his voice being rather scratchy. "The
wolf here is Lucielenna," Jackal motioned to the wolf. "And it's going
to be joining us. Apparently, someone bombed Mikasalla and caused
massive destruction. We've been tasked to find out who did it. Gentlemen..."

Jackal raised his hands to the sky.

"We have a mystery on our hands."

An airship pulled into the port, painted black and purple with an intricate
design of flowers adorning the sides. Jackal and the wolf Lucielenna
boarded, then motioned for the others to do the same.

Cleros stifled a laugh or two at the grin Jackal shot him. He thought about the hilarity of it mixed in with the intricacies of social code until he decided it was much more interesting to examine the airship, which was quite gorgeously designed.

Deciding he wanted to make some sort of good impression and perhaps even start to try to do well in the clan, he took the initiative and was first to follow Jackal onto the airship.

[Princek]

Princek had met Squee and had heard of Jackal, but they have never been introduced properly. The other man assigned for this mission had a..weird personality.

He only nodded and followed Cleros onto the small but cool-looking airship.

[Jackal]

(OOC: Squee ain't around, so i'm going to godmod him a second to get this moving)

Squee boarded the airship, and it took off from Ancardia.

The airship landed in the Mikasalla docks, and Jackal was the first to
disembark.

"Alright, men. Let's go."

~Collin, Palais Tundra~


"H-huh? I... I guess... I'm not sure I'll be of much help, though," Collin muttered. He didn't really understand what the wink was for; this was probably because the thought that she was using him never really crossed his mind.

Instead, he was thinking about what Mithos said. The axe... was sentient? So that was what made Winona act like that? Collin recalled the words that Winona spoke while posessed. 'I've seen it with my own eyes while I was traveling around Weyard' she said. Could it be...? No, that's impossible... Does Winona know more than he thinks? Maybe she'd tell him once she was ready.
