Krussnik Academy, Boarding School for the Supernatural

At the Krussnik Academy students here are of a supernatural origin. They're the monsters and creatures you hear about in legends. At the school, the tend to learn unorthodox things, like Combat, Elemental Magic, Summoning and Sorcery, Divination (fortune-telling), Flying (for students with wings or flight abilities), Herbology, Morphing Classes for Lycanthropes, Ancient Runes, and History, Biology and Astronomy with magical twists. Not to mention some fun extracuricular activities like Dragon Flying!

But the halls of Krussnik Academy aren't what you'd expect. They're chaotic and wild. Fights break out frequently, and the teachers don't break them up. In fact, sometimes the teachers take sides!

A few select humans, each with one special power of their own, have been given the special privlage to attend Krussnik Acadamey. No human has ever set foot on the grounds before. One thing's fo sure, the humans are in for a shock when they arrive!

*Humans have ONE special ability each, whether it be slight control over one element, or something else. Humans will be accepted into the Bronze level students. Students have dorms for girls and boys, that are four leveled, in a sense, with a few stairs, about three, leading to each level. Gold has the highest level, then Silver, then Bronze, then the common room.

*~*RULES*~- No godmodding, no chat speak, proper spelling and grammar, no Sues, only 1 human per Rper, and as many characters are you can handle. Teachers will be controlled by everyone, though you may make a teacher character, they probably won't get much playing time. You may be ANY type of magical/mythical creature as long as it isn't too powerful or something unrealistic (i.e. a vampire-werewolf-elf-fairy-demi god hybrid) In fact, keep "hybrids" to a minumum, and make sure they're only a cross of two species. The only other human-ish characters you can have are mages and witches, or creatures with humaniod forms;like merpeople or such.

~At the Academy, the grades are Bronze, Silver, and Gold. Students are grouped by talent more than age. The "Tin" group is a term used to refer to awful students, but there's no such thing as the "Tin" group students are usually the lowest of the Bronze. Students attend the school for usually three or four years. Some longer.

Personality Wynn is a pretty easy going and cheerful girl. Not hyperly happy, just content. She's very curious and loves the pursuit of knowledge, but she tends to stick her noise in places it doesn't belong, due to her curious nature. She likes to joke about herself, especially her flat chest, but tends to brood about it and her looks when she has her eye on a good-looking guy, which she tends to have a lot. A little boy crazy.
History A girl who was raised by a group, or guild, of scholars known as the Sages after her parents fell victim to a fever epidemic that swept through the town she came from; though Wynn was probably about seven.
Other She has an older brother, but he left before her parents died.

Name: Faolan Lowenbrowe

Species: Were-wolverine
Class: Silver
Powers: Shape-shifts with the new moon. Changes into a wolverine capable of walking on two legs, and four legs. A little awkward looking on four.

Personality In her human form, she tends to been quiet, and pretty shy. She's gentle and polite, and never likes to draw too much attention to herself, or fight with others. Basically, she's a pretty nice girl. The same can't be said when she shifts into a were-wolverine, when she's like a wolverine, aggressive.
History A second cousin of Dian, Faolan comes from the clan of mixed lycanthropes. She has five older brothers and one younger sister. All her brothers are weak things like a were-swan a were-duck, a were-rabbit. The only ones with "powerful" forms are Faolan, her eldest brother, a were-deer (he turns into a buck, of course), and the youngest child, her sister who is a were-lynx.
Other Was given the nickname "Bunny" by her jealous brothers.

Name: Esau
Age: ??? Hard to tell. He may be 17 or 18.
Gender: Hard to tell though he's male.
Species: Golem
Powers: Very strong, the thing in the middle of his face holds his power, if someone where to put a piece of paper with something written on it, or something of the sort, it would affect him due to what was written.

Personality He's really not too bright, but he's gentle and has his own strange wisdom. He tends to get used by others without knowing.
History A golem who is nothing too special. He's a great Gurbah (like rugby) player though, the best in the school maybe, at least defensive wise. He's part of the "Tin class", or the worst students of the school.
Other If the enchantment on his head is pushed in with force, he "shuts down", meaning he stops moving completely. This is very problematic during Gurbah, and other sport games. If he does not rest on the Sabbath (observed from sundown on Friday until the appearance of three stars in the sky on Saturday night) he'll go berserk.

Name: Rashid Akmon-ra
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Species: Naga
Powers: has poison in his fangs, can call on snakes and speak with them, and he can climb trees and swim quite well.

Personality Rashid is pretty serious, and is a bit socially awkward. He is popular with the ladies, but seems to shut down socially when girls, especially pretty girls or younger girls, flirt with him. He's an exellent student though.
History A noble in the naga society, Rashid has been at the school for three years, and this may be his last year.

Name: Hasani
Age: 5 (Though he looks to be in his teens; was created by a mage)
Gender: Male
Species: composite werewolf mummy (his creator had sewn mummy parts together to create a wolf man, much like the Fiji mermaid)
Class: Bronze
Powers: shapeshifting, heightened senses, arrises from the dead.
Looks: made from many different mummified wolf and human body parts, taxidermic stitches all over. Not very pretty in either human or wolf form.
Personality: Is a big flirt and likes girls a lot, but knows deep down that a freak like him is no match for the "pretty" monsters and tends to feel self-conscious.
History: A mage created him and brought him to life. Thinking to make a quick sell on him by putting him in the circus (this IS steampunk, you know), Hasani grew tired of all the gocking, (especially from the women) and ran away to persue his own destiny.
Other: Has a bit of a loathing for vampires. Is also considered a "Tin" student.

Name: Kasimir Celko
Age: 18
Gender: male
Species: vampire
Class: gold
Powers: strength, speed, cunning, flight, transform into mists and a wolf
Looks: Something like this, but his hair is more blue and eyes have a tint more orange and doesn't have lips like that. And hair isn't so long.

Personality: Kasimir is calm and collected, although does have a temper when pushed. He hates impure anythings and enjoys having the humans there for "Food." He's a bit on the arrogant side and is very intelligent. He flirts every now and then and is one of the school charmers.
History: Kasimir is from a long line of vampires. The Celko is one of the most pure vampire family names. Rumor has it that they steal human blood to drink instead of monster blood, thus making them more powerful.
Other: He does not enjoy it when "pathetic scuffles" break out and will break them up if nearby. His rival in life in Padraig

Name: Padraig Boyle
Age: 18
Gender: male
Species: Gancanagh (type of faerie)
Class: gold
Powers: control females, cunning, flight, spells and see the future
Looks: something like this but the hair is a bit longer and shaggier

Personality: Padraig is extremely flirtatious and enjoys beautiful women. He's somewhat vain about his looks and always makes sure he looks good. He's very excited about the human women because "They will fall under my spell far easier than monster women!" He is extremely arrogant and quite sure of himself. He is also a charmer of the school.
History: Padraig comes from a faerie house that fully believes in humans. They are an old faerie house and are known for throwing amazing parties as well as being huge flirts.
Other: His rival, ever since he first saw him, is Kasimir

Name: Murdina Birnigarth
Age: 16

Species: finfolk
Class: silver
Powers: water-related powers, ability to breath under water, fast swimmer, seduction
Looks: Eyes are more of a purpleish blue

Personality: Murdina is the most vain of all. She must always look good and is always trying to attract the opposite gender in order to find a suitable husband so she won't grow old. She is quite shallow and obsessed with herself.
History: Finfolk do not marry finfolk. Murdina's father was actually a Selkie but she is still a Finfolk. (Dominate gene, yo.) She's often heard that if humans existed, that they would be capable of keeping a finfolk's beauty and youth forever if the finfolk marries them.
Other: She's dated so many guys, she's lost count.

Name: Anezka Hogarth
Age: 15
Gender: female
Species: human
Class: Bronze
Powers: can communicate with dragons, maybe eventually control and possibly some dragon agilities (speed, strength, n/a fire breathing)
Looks:

Personality: Anezka is tough but quite helpful and friendly. She often takes on a big sister role and protects people who cannot prortect themselves. She's fiercely loyal and loves having friends.
History: Anezka is a miller's daughter and lived a normal life until the school contacted her. Her family is worried about it, but decided to allow her to go.

Name: Atargatis "Atty" Derketo
Age: 18
Gender: female
Species: Mermaid
Class: gold
Powers: She can step out of water in a humanized form. Breathe underwater, she has an amazing voice that humans are especially vulnerable to, but if a human were to get it in their minds to kill her and eat her skin, they would become unaging and immortal. She has limited divination powers.

Personality: While she is not as vain as her sister, she's still beautiful and up-plays that to the highest of highs. She, too, has dated more people than can be counted. She's not as conceited as Murdina, but still thinks of herself rather highly because of her cunning and skill. When she sees someone that needs help, depending on the type of help, she'll give it. Sometimes for free, but more at a cost. She loves the feeling of control, yet she's very frolicky and carefree.
History: She comes from a very long line of mermaid nobility. She's the third in line for power in her family and ruling their underground fortress. She still has both her parents, although by this age she is considered an adult and they treat her as a stranger, as that is the mermaid custom.
Other: Her rival is her half sister, Murdina. Also, her hair color changes as her form changes. A dark chocolate brown that matches her sister's hair when she's not a mermaid, and a light blond/brown hair as a mermaid.

Powers: Exceeds at summoning and sorcery, mind reading (his eyes also help with that- he can see who people truly are- which kinda falls under reading their mind I guess, idk, in my opinion it does.)

Personality: Quiet. Erudite. He could become a very good and loyal friend if given the chance.
History: He came here to further his magical abilities, but finds the fighting to be quite barbaric. He believes violence is never the answer, and is often beat up purely because he won't fight back. (they start and tell him to 'come on, fight back' and continue even though he does not because they already are beating him up and are feeling 'macho' for doing so)
Other: He has a necklace that he wears every day that is very dear to him, along with a staff that he brings that helps him with his magick, he also wears two rings on his hand that match his eyes. No one knows what those are for. There is a rumor going on around that if he loses those/takes them off he becomes blind.


Name: Ulee Peri-Nympsies
Age: 16 1/2
Gender: Female
Species: Human
Class: Bronze
Powers: Plants. The only thing she can really grow are vines, and kinda weak ones at that. Simple flowers as well, unless she really works on it, then maybe a tiger lily.

History: Her mother always wondered why one side of her house was covered in leafy, thin, green vines. She caught her daughter growing one one day on the side of the house. Ulee left, fearing what might happen if people knew she was some nature freak, and decided to go to Krussnik, finding a letter saying she was invited to come and further her 'special' ability. SHe didn't see the specialness in it, she can grow weeds, woop-de-do. But Ulee decided to go anyways, where else would she?
Other: Back home, people called her 'Nymp' or 'Nymph' more than Ulee.


Name: Ambrose Tucci
Age: 18

Species: Winged-Demon

Powers: Flight, fire

Personality: Sly, trickster, flirter- but what guy isn't. Large trouble-maker, should prolly be classed in "Tin" because he never does his work. He just does well when he needs to to stay in gold. He has the potential to be great, just not the care to. He is more interested in destruction than learning.
History: He was always a trouble-maker, got it from his father (a demon) so it made his pap devilishly proud and happy. Never talks about mum, who sent him here in hopes that it would change him a little.
Other: He's likely found to be the main reason/starter for any drastic disaster or fire. Does things for his own personal gain. Is there any kindness underneath that hard shell?


Name: Sori "Song" Linferra
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Species: Kanbo- drought/life-draining spirit.
Class: Bronze
Powers: She's not very good right now, but her power is the ability to suck the water out of nature(/living things) (plants, trees, air) and use it for battling or spells. When she is at the gold level, she will be able to suck the life out of creatures. Shapeshifting from her human form to her true form.

Personality: Quiet, reserved. SHe is more concentrated on furthering her skills than on the petty drama that fills school. This is only because no one has really tried to be friends with her, so she is unfamiliar and unskilled with interacting with other creatures- outkastish behavior in the human world in other words.
History: Her human form looks innocent, don't let that fool you. She can be heartless if you rub her the wrong way.
Other: Once, by accident, she caused a dust-bowl effect for months when she lost control of her powers, sucking water out of crops and streams on a farm where she used to live. They sent her here out of anger and hopes she'd learn how to control this power. They do not know her true capability.
Of course, it will be years before she gets there.

History Born into a family of lycanthropes, he grew up among many rather mixed lycans with rather strange forms, so treats most abnormalities without much fuss. His family is odd in that instead of being controlled by a full moon, the new moon causes them to change shapes.
Other Has the nickname “Fluffy”, given by his sisters after they discovered his type of lycanthropy.

(Sorry, I was gone all weekend! Okay, I also switched out my werewolf for a were-wolverine, and my mage for a golem.

And Ben, I can't see Dian's picture. And you might want to have a human.

Okay, all the humans will have just arrived to the train station near the school.)

Wynn had just ridden a train from her hometown, and now it looked like she was, somewhere completely different. In the distance there was a huge, what looked like a castle, with five large towers. Everywhere around her was green, with forests and grass. She looked around, but saw no one else. Where was everyone? Were they late, or was she early?

Dian watched from his window as the smoke that signified the train slowly disappeared once more. Newcomers were arriving, it would seem. Rumours had been flying about that the newcomers were humans of all things! Dian scoffed at such ridiculous things. Every student in the school knew that humans were either non-existant or at least extremely rare! The chances of any "gifted" humans coming to the school were insanely low. And even if any humans did dare to show themselves in the school, they wouldn't last five minutes in the classes.

(Can Faolan and Dian be second cousins?)

A younger girl, probably a new student, had sat down in an empty seat. She sighed, then looked up. A looming shadow had appeared over her. She yelped, then scooted out of the way. It seemed a huge golem had desired her seat, and didn't seem to notice her. She clambered into another seat, which had one other occupant in it. She knew him, which was better than finding herself with a complete stranger.

Dian looked up at the newcomer, sighing. "Oh, it's you," he muttered, then carried on looking out of the window. It wasn't that he didn't like the girl, it was just that he did not tend to get on well with others. "You might as well make yourself at home," he muttered. He yawned loudly. He hated long journeys, and it seemed like this one was going to drag on for some time.

In the hallways, a loud slapping sound echoed as a faye walked off with a look of disgust on her face. A creature, who looked more like a decaying wolf and man sewn together, rubbed his carion cheek after feeling the pain of being slapped. Trying to pick up a girl was hard enough being an artificial freak, but he was use to such things and liked girls too much to stop, so he decided to turn the other cheek and move on.

"Another year has come, Kasimir," the male faerie said to the male vampire as they looked out the window. Even though the two despised each other beyond belief, they were often seen in each other's company. More thna likely to keep an eye on each other. "Hm, do you really think they're humans? If so, I'm quite excited. Humans are much weaker than monsters, so the women should be easier to court."
"I don't really care, as long as I can eat," Kasimir stated, pushing a stray hair out of his eyes.
"Mm, so cold in reality," the faerie said. "I wonder how you charm girls."
"The thing you must know about vampires is that we are actors."

The blonde girl hopped off the train, looking around. She was a tad bit nervous about coming to this school. She had never been away from home before. Then, all of a sudden, she gets accepted into a school she has no idea existed! She looked around a bit nervously, shifting from foot to foot.
