Okay, restarting the game.

For those of you who have just seen the Horton Hears a Who! movie or just like anything written or inspired by Dr. Seuss, than this rpg is for you. Takes place after the movie/book (if you want to bring in Horton Hatches the Egg, thats fine) and can feature actual characters/creatures created by Dr. Seuss himself, inspirations from others, or your own creation.

I went and I saw the movie today. It was great =D I got Jojo's character down now. If Okay I would like to try again and be him.

Personality: Snotty, not the smartest tool in the shed, but has his moments ,rude and believe anything Mell tells him.
Likes: the ladies, dogs, helping Mel.
Dislikes: being hit by Mel or being trouble by Mel, which happens lot.
Other info: Helping Mel with his evil plans. Use to work for Ned's father when he younger, but was fried for being idiot.

Dislikes: Her family being Hurt and being scared.
Other info: She follows Jojo around all the time, loves being with him and daddy's girl. She one Ned and Sally's daughters.

Personality: Cocky at times, She can be sweet when she in the mood. Acts tough dosn't like to use her sentive side,.

Other info: She the second Oldest, She and Jojo don't always get along but if anyone or if Jojo need someone she will be there.

Okay, since I'm pretty much running this rpg, I guess I'll be the Mayor of Whoville (and anyone else if the story calls for them and we don't get enough players).

Personality: easy going, good hearted, can be a bit of a goof at times, sometimes is nervous
Likes: Being mayor, his family, his pet goldfish
Dislikes: His family and the citizens of Whoville hurt, staplers, being called a "Boob"
Other info: Is from a long line of Mayors and is the father of 97 children.

Okay, lets begin.

A city of many, which had been paved,
Sat on a flower, on a mountain, in a cave.
The whos down in Whoville lived in contentment and joy,
But some may disagree for the Mayor and his boy...

Jojo walking along the street side walks quietly and kicking stone as he walked along. He sighed little remember what had happen in school, he had been mocked in front almost the whole who -ville High school. He wanted nothing more then to sink into the ground at that moment. All he wanted was to be understood.

He sighed and walked into the house and shut the door and lean against it for moment, clearing his mind of unhappy thoughts.

Ned had just gotten out of the bathroom with a band-aid on his forehead and rubbing his temples.

"I should REALLY switch to using paperclips instead."

It was then he noticed his son coming in the house from school and leaning against the door with a sad expression on his face. Now, Ned often had trouble trying to understand his son, but even he couldn't help but take notice that something was the matter.

Ned came up to his son with a kind gesture, "Hey Jojo, why so down in the dumps?"

Jojo looks up at his father and then shurgs and walks away from him.

"Jojo, I'm only trying to help!" but the Mayor could do nothing as his son walked away from him. He sighed sadly to himself, "Why can I NEVER connect with my only son?"

Jojo enters his room and walks over to desk and looks down at some blue prints for new invention,it always made him feel better when he was down. He sat down reading the blue prints back and front.

As Ned walked down through the "Hall of Greats", he looked over at the portrait of his father.

"Well, I haven't EXACTLY lived up to your expectations, but I'm sure you'd be glad that Whoville's safe."

It was then he saw something in the very end of the hall in a small corner, something that looked familiar. He ran over for a closer look and when he saw it, he wondered why he never noticed it before: two small discii that each had a broken rod in the center and each half seemed to join perfectly together.

"This... this was Jojo's..."

Jojo get up and grabs his blue prints and walks over to the window and slips down from it and hurries off down the grass field.


As he walks he stops hearing two adult male Whos talking in low whisper, Jojo caught wind little bit of what they were saying. They were talking about his Father. ' how could they..' Jojo thought and hid behind tree to ease drop on the two whos.

" So Mel what is your plan?" Asked the tall blueish who.

" Very simple you idiot in order for me to be the mayor, we kill Ned" the tallest one said smirking evilly.

" What about his boy? The quite kid" the blue Who asked Mel.

" He wont be much of a problem at all" Mel said. With that being said they both walked off.

Jojo eye wide and runs home.

Hearing Jojo entering the house, Ned placed the dicus-like objects in his pocket and smiled awkwardly over at Jojo.

"Hey Jojo, hows it going? Are those blue prints of an invention you're working on?"

[Meg1]

Jojo nods and then looks up at him and went off down the hall. He wasn't sure how he coming tell his dad. Would he believe him? He had do something. Jojo opens his bed room door and walks inside.

Jojo lays down on his bed thinking so drifts off to sleep. He started dreaming.

Jojo standing there frozen he couldn't move no matter how much he tried too.

Mel could be heard laughing and then could hear screams of pain sound like Jojo's dad. Jojo try to move once again he couldn't. Tears falling quickly down his cheeks.

Jojo sat up with started looked around the room, didn't notice the tears in his brown eyes.

Jojo gets out of bed and walks out his room quietly and see his Dad and he okay all was well. Jojo tried telling himself was just a dream nothing more. But he still scared that may come true.

After feeding his pet goldfish, Ned saw Jojo popping his head out from the room after having a rest.

"Jojo, you're up." He said reaching into his pocket, "I--I found something that was lost and broken in the house and I thought I'd fix it up for you; I'm sure you'll recognise this."

Ned pulled out the discii objects that were now connected together, polished, and had a string tied onto the middle peg and handed it to Jojo.

"You use to play with that yo-yo for hours. You were only a toddler and you already knew how to walk the dog and do a Sleeping Beauty. Your favorite move though was the Rattlesnake, because of the rattling sound you use to make with it."

Jojo looks down at the yo-yo and smiles up at his Dad. " Thank you" he said to him. He then thought about telling his father about the dream and the two guys. He thought agisnt it for now at least.


Mean while

" So.. How we get the boy..?" Eric asked Mel as he sat there fiddling with a folded paper that shape of triangle.

Mel glance over at him. " We will do at night when Mr. Mayor and pretty little wife Sally are asleep. Then We will come in and kidnapped the boy" Mel explained.

" How?What if the boy fight us?" Eric asked looking up at Mel.

" He smallest who in Who-ville, will be easy" Mel said.

Ned rubbed his head, feeling a little uncomfortable with the awkward quietness (though he should be use to it by now with his son).

"You know, if there's anything on your mind, ANYTHING at all, don't be afraid to tell me. Alright?"
