Lumerelia is pretty good crime-wise. The merging of Tolataritism, and Democracy (which creates: Taloqraci). Basically if you're a non-conformist with the rest of the nation you're outlawed or executed. This in many ways prevents vandalism, and crimes. That's not to say you have to wear uniforms or anything, but those who abuse their power are prosecuted.

They sure as hell would be. But like any society there's a thick underground for crime, drug dealing, weapon dealing, and other such activity. However, Leium could be looked at like a Vigilante, so in some cases, he'd probably get away. Y'erade though would be fucked if her got caught.

Skylyn is almost completely crime free becasue you can't get in if you're deemed undesireable whatsoever. The docking platform, on the other hand, is a crimanal's paradise. Think Mos Eisley in the sky.

Wouldn't hand picking the residence be discrimination? Which is also a form of 'crime'? lol. I know what you mean though, it's a better way to sculpt a mark society.

Crime is a relative term. We all know right from wrong, but what dictates a criminal activity varies. Not allowing certain people into the city might not be politically correct, but it's the only sure fire way of keeping it safe.

True which is why I guess Megu's eastern world has such strict rules (hmm... reminds me other something... 0.o... lol The middle east perhaps? lol) But in all seriousness Lumerelia has rather strict guidelines as well. Getting into any of the nations can be a hassle if you've got no former record, and the commonwealth of Lumerelia has ZERO tolerance for bullshit.

True, but it's not a communist society. You're free to do whatever you want within certain guidelines. If you cross them there are minimal warning and then serious pushishment.

I've been thinking, we all pretty much know all there is to know about eastern Megu, as it's all M1L and I seem to talk about, but Megu is a pretty pig planet. It'd be nice to get to know the other continents and nations a bit better.

That it would, the east seems to be all that's developed at the moment. I've heard Kyle talk about a few things that pertain to the western world but nothing confirmed. It'd be nice to have some history written up about each continent and it's relative nations. I'll do a little something on Lumerelia just for the hell of it. We should also develop a guideline like so...

Continent: Lumerelia
Nation(s) List: Sarilec, Kanokabo, Cekonahai, Bangielour
Estimated Population: 9 Billion
Dominant Species/Races: Uomo, Harmonian
Founded In: 128 E7
Founder: Dilangr Cartheius
Summary: While most of Lumerelia is covered in vegetation and thick foliage, large areas of the continent are vast deserts and tundras. It's specifically hot in Lumerelia during the solstices, however during the equinox it can be viciously cold. Through it's extremes for weather it's a beautiful place consisting of many variant forms of species and sub-species among it's settlers and it's vegetation.
Lumerelia has a rich record for civil war and unrest through the settlements. While it appears there's a need for power among the potilical figures, many believe that it's the rivalry of native Lumerelian blood and that of settler descendants who arrived in Lumerelia many centuries ago. Etc...
