We all know it will be a face-off between Voldemort and Harry, so who do you think will die?

I think that they both will die in the end. Because of their connection, even if Harry manages to Kill Voldemort, he'll die as well.

i agree with you. It is better that both die, and not only harry´s because if it is like this, the evil would be present in all the world...

I'm hoping Harry won't die. But he probebly will.

I don't think Ron or Hermione will die, JK knows she has a varied audience from very young to quite old. At the last thing in Edinburgh was open for 8-18 year olds. JK wouldn't do something like that to the younger audience it seems, after all the books are being tamed down from being overly dark, with the exception of HBp, which was more focused on the older readers in my opinion -the trio are growing up, JK has to take her skills with them. But I think she'll keep Hermione and Ron (at least I hope so).

hhmm I dont know about that, I mean she did kill Siruis and Dumbledore. I dont think she'd not write what she wanted to just because its supposed to be a kids book

i think that if JK was capable of killing Sirius and Dumbledore, then she could kill anybody. Although i would feel horrible if she killed Hermione or Ron because they are nice and important characters. Hermione is very intelligent, Ron is very funny, and Harry is very strong and brave. All of them make this story possible.

Bingo. Sirius & Dumbledoor were heavy losses for the readers, yes, but Ron & Hermione have been in the story and with Harry for the whole series. I just don't think she'd do it...

I completely agree with Roni here. Yeah it's true that Sirius and Dumbledore wer great characters and very dear to Harry, but they weren't necassary. Unlike Ron and Hermione who if you killed them off before Harry, knowing his character, he just wouldn't be able to carry on. Sirius he only knew for three years, Dumbledore wasn't always there for him. Where as Ron and Hermione were...

I think just like Gina does about Hermione and Ron. Despite Sirius and Dumbledore's deaths, Harry goes on and I think his only family are his friends. Without them it wouldn't be possible for Harry to go on.

i hope they won't. each time i heard about dumbledore's possible death, i thought, "for God's sake!!! dubledore dying???" i was to used to that theory that i didn't think really of it, and now, look, he's really dead...
but i really hope that hermy and ron won't die, that will be terrible!!!
