Figured I might as well start the topic. I've been looking for a good Star Wars site for some time now. So far all the ones I've seen have either been full of ridiculous rules (You can only choose from a list of 8 species to play as, for one example) or are dead or dying.
Personally, if anyone is interested, I'm on a Harry Potter RPing site that I ran across randomly. It looked interesting, so I figured I'd join. It's nothing like any Star Wars (or Stargate, for those of you who migrated to SGO) board I've been on; it's extremely character driven, with no solid plotline besides what the characters come up with, but the community is about as nice as they come. If you have an odd urge to do something completely different, the link is Here. Like I said before though, I'm still on the lookout for a good, active Star Wars site. For that matter, I'd be plenty happy with any good science fiction site with a strong plotline and a lot of killing and destruction. If anyone's got anything, post 'em for me. For anyone who decides to join me in this thread, welcome back. Glad to see people are still around. ;) |

Ahhh, every time I come back I just wanna start over. I wanna make it happen again!
Even if it is never as active and incredible as it was before...if we get a couple core people to roleplay as continuously as possible, it could eventually draw some decent numbers. Amazing to think I started this in middle school and I'm halfway done with college now. February 14th 2012 will be 7 years of TOR. And HA! We had TOR before Bioware did! |
