Frozen at the Entrance, <Draco only for now>

[Gabrielle Delacour]

The sky was cloudy, and dark, it looked like it was almost twilight, but it was actually just two o clock in the afternoon. The water in the fountain marking the entrance to Hogsmead was frozen solid, reflecting how cold it was.
Gabrielle had bundled up tightly in a feather down coat, and was wearing gloves. It was still freezing, and she continued shivering. Even her toes were cold. She gave a shiver and looked out in to the distance.
Usually, she would have stayed indoors, but she was waiting for someone. For Draco actually. And she hoped he would hurry. She was shivering her butt off and wanted to go get a hot chocolate or a butterbeer as soon as possible.

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco appeared next to Brielle. He wore a soft, cloth-like black floor-length jacket that had black fur lining. Draco smiled at Bri. He had used his magic to make him warm no matter what. "Hello, Bri. Would you like me to make you warm?" He asked, softly. His head was spinning, so many thoughts, feelings, and ideas rushing through his mind.

[Gabrielle Delacour]

"Hi.." Gabrielle said as she looked away, rubbing her hands together. This was going to be hard. "You might as well. We may be here awhile, because, well, Draco, wesortofneedtotalk." Gabrielle said the last sentece all together, hoping to get it all out, but she instantly regreted it. Too bad there was no turning back now.

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco rubbed her arms, warmth flowing through is hands into her to warm her. She wouldn't be cold for quite a while. He took a step back, sighing. "You realised as much, too, huh?" He asked, calmly. "You're right, we do." He conjored two plump chairs. He motioned for her to sit before sitting, himself.

[Gabrielle Delacour]

Gabrielle sat down in one as she nodded grimly to Draco. "Thanks." She muttered, wiggling around as she looked everywhere around her but at Draco. "Mind if I talk first?" She phrased it as a question but she didn't wait for his reply. "I feel like the Draco I had started going out with has dissappeared. I understand that times change, but you are completely different. You are hardly ever happy, and I rarely talk to you anymore..." Gabrielle sighed, but she still wasn't looking at Draco. A heavy burden was off her chest and she felt good. "Your turn."

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco sighed, shaking his head. "Gabrielle, I love being with you. I've had a really fun tim. But...well, I'm always afraid for your safety now. They're getting to me and Harry through me and him. I don't want them to do that with us. I'm sorry, but I think it would be best if we didn't see each other anymore. Not for a while, at least." He paused. "It might even be best if we stopped speaking as much so that our relationship may not be used against us, either." He paused. "I'm sorry, but it's over, Miss Delacour. I'll see you around." He got up and disappeared, pain evident on his face. ~Harry, go help Gabrielle. She's in Hogmeade Square.~

[Harry Potter]

Harry started awake and dissapeared instantly, appearing next to Gabrielle. "Bri, oh god. He did it, didn't he?" Harry rubbed his forehead. ~Good God, Draco. That hurt her.~ he swore under his breath befor kneeling in front of her. "Brielle, he needs to keep you safe. It's a... Saving the world thing... I did the same thing." he slipped both of his hands over one of hers.

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco was shaking. He took a deep breath. He wanted to say he didn't care, but that wasn't true. ~It was for her own good.~ He murmered, softly. He wondered what life was going to be like, now. He actually thought Harry would've scolded him or talked him into changing his mind or something like that.

[Harry Potter]

~Her own good? Havn't you heard Hermione and Emma talking about my 'saving people thing?~ he sighed out loud and started down at the gournd.

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco rolled his eyes. ~I don't want to talk about it.~ He replied. He was hiding something from Harry, but that seemed to be a constant thing these days. He sighed.

[Gabrielle Delacour]

"He needed to keep me safe?" Gabrielle asked, a hint of insanity in her voice as she looked down at Harry, though she didn't truely look at him, as she had tears in her eyes. "Oh yes. Breaking up with me keeps me safe. I have never, ever in my whole fifteen years been safe. Not even at my own house." Gabrielle shivered slowly, stopping herself from saying too much. She had thought before it would have been for the best breaking up with Draco, but now she doubted it. "Miss Delacour...It's as if we had never spoken to each other. As if I had never existed for him."
"How does he think breaking up with me will help him save the world? And he is only a guy. A teenage guy. How is he supposed to save the world, when he keeps on going crazy and attacking everyone?" Gabrielle asked, though she instantly regreted it. She felt as if she were loosing it. Gripping her chair until her knuckles turned white, she looked at the sky. "I think you may need to slap me, Harry. I'm having a panic attack." She added in a small guilty voice.

[Harry Potter]

Harry watched her silently, letting her vent. He raised a hand to her temple, calming her instantly. "Gabrielle, come on. Walk with me." Harry told her in french, standing and offering her his arm.

[Gabrielle Delacour]

"Fine." Gabrielle said, feeling calmer, but still panicky. She closed her eyes, got up and took Harry's arm in one fluid motion. "But what will a walk do? It won't change the fact that he is being a total idiot."

[Harry Potter]

Harry shrugged. "It won't do anything, I don't think. But walking and talking is better." Harry was now speaking english, softly. "Bri, he's being stupid, yes. But he's Draco. He does things for reasons that no one knows. But Bri, he's still your frined. I will talk to him about all this. I promise." he smiled at her.

[Gabrielle Delacour]

"No. He isn't my friend. Not really. He made it pretty clear that he didn't want to talk as much. Do you know how much we had been talking before? Even less than I have been talking with Hermione. Which is practically nothing." Gabrielle sighed. "That was a point I had made to him when telling him what was wrong... And he called me Miss Delacour. Not Gabrielle. I mean, calling me Gabrielle would have been an okay way to end it, but to go all the way to say my last name!" She shook her head miserably, her blonde hair messing up and getting in the way of her vision, not that she cared. "You could talk to him if you want. I really don't think he will change his mind."
