Dani appeared seconds before Ver was supposed to and brushed off her clothes. She wore a coture skirt of a bright purple that matched her eyes, with a Dolce and Gabbana peasant shirt of thin floatly silk. Her shoes were Jimmy Choos, black with purple polka dots, and her hair was straightened and pulled back with a ribbion. She wore make-up, smoky eye-liner and peachy lip gloss. She looked like an American Teenager in the Big Apple, and a well dressed one at that. She waited for Veronica with a slight pout, the look most teens wore. A few girls asked her about her shoes and she replied polietly, laughing internally as they gushed about her accent and moved on.

Veronica appeared just a moment after Dani. She had on a black pencil skirt with a red cami that had grey zebra stripes on it, and some lace at the bottom. She wore patent black leather pumps, bold red lipstick, and her hair in an 'i love lucy' ish bun, complete with red bandana.
She smiled as she found Dani and waved to her as she walked over. "Do you think I dressed alright?" She asked with a slight blush. She actually liked muggle clothes, but, wasn't alowed to wear them at home, so, she really only got the chance when she was at school. And then, she never really got the chance to try out the outfits she put together, so she was a bit self-concious.
She grinned. "Its exciting, isn't it?" She looked around everywhere and was in awe of all the hustle and bustle. "I've never been to New York before..."

Dani smiled. "It looks great. Just act confident, and you will be." she smoothed more Vera Wang brand lipgloss over her lips and smiled. "I love labels." she explained. "Harry and Emma always chip in on outfits I like, mostly 'cause I don't wear robes as much." she shrugged and linked her arm thru Ver's starting to walk down Fifth Ave. "I'm glad I don't have to be at that wedding." she commented softly, shaking her head. "It was nail biting at the ceremony, watching him..." she traile doff.

Veronica smiled. "Confident, now, that I can do." She said as she raised her chin up and gave everyone her best 'i know i rock' look while she linked arms with Dani and started walking. "Thats a pretty good system!" She said with a laugh. "...Are those Jimmy Choos!?!?" A look of awe and admiration appeared on her face. "I've only seen them in the muggle magazines i've borrowed from my hogwarts friends, but i've never actually seen anybody wear them! They're simply magnificent!" She exlaimed as she laughed at her gushing. "Sorry, I..well, i have a thing for shoes..."
"I completely understand...its like, watching a whole portion of your past being sealed off, and knowing you can never go there again." She said with a sigh. "I'm mean, I'm happy for him, but, at the same time, i don't know. well, you obviously understand." She said with a bit of a chuckle. "But, we are two strong, attractive women, who are currently walking down a street with many good looking guys, and clothes." Her tone was a pleasant jokish one. Ver winked at a guy passing by who had caught her eye and when he passed, she looked over at Dani and giggled slightly.
"oooh! that store looks cool, wanna go in?' Said Veronica, as a bright store up ahead caught her eye. The store was a Louis Vuitton one.

Dani grinned. "Yes!" she was laughing now. "I have so many pairs of shoes, you can borrow, if you like." she offered. "I wear size eight, what about you?" she nodded at the offer of going in. "Of course!" she thought back to the comment. "Never thoguht of it that way. I'm eighteen, we look smokin', and apparently everyone else agrees." at the wolf whistle, she grinned. "Thanks, Ver."

Veronica's eyes lit up. "I would absolutely love that!" She grinned. "Lucky me, i take eight as well!"
"Well, whats not for them to agree with?" Ver laughed and headed into the store. "Anytime Dani, anytime." She said with a genuine smile, as she spotted a silver necklace that looked beautiful and walked over to it "Ohh, look at this!" She said as she laughed and held it up to see if it matched her outfit. "What do you think of this?"

Dani laughed. "Fantastic!" The owner, luckily, a witch, came over, smiling. "Hello, Danielle, looking for anything in particular." Dani shook her head. "Get whatever you like." the witch continued, smiling broadly, "And your friend as well, consider it our thanks for that bag scandel last week." Dani grinned and nodded polietly, moving to Ver. "Hear that? Most of the stores are magic owned, and being me, and what I do, some of them owe me favors, another reason i love labels." Dani pulled a smokey grey with aqua trimming dress off a rack and held it up. "You like?"

Veronica smiled politely to the owner, and when she walked away, her jaw dropped, her eyes bulged, and she gasped. "Oh my goodness Dani. And what is it that you do, superhero work!?!?" She asked with a laugh. "'Cause I could see them owing you favors for that." She said with a wink. "I don't believe it, thats so amazing! you have to love the whole favors system. And, by the way, I'm coming shopping with you way more often!"
She grinned broadly and laughed."Bag scandal?" She asked, thinking about what the owner had said.
"No, I don't like, I love!" She exclaimed with a laugh, as she browsed through the racks and saw a short silver dress that sparkled. "Oooh, now, this, I REALLY love!"

"I stopped a round of bag theives, with my boss. And I'm the only girl on the force who shops..." she shrugged and arms the dress to dry on, now digging through the sale items. She pulled out a kimono style top of blue with bronze embroidery and gasped. "Merlin! I've wanted this for /ages/!" she armed it and looked at Ver's dress gasping. "Oh my goodness, I love it!" she squealed. It was such a girl's day out. "We should shop for Harry and Hermione's wedding. I think I'm in it..." she smiled.

Veronica's eyes widened. "Wow, thats amazing Dani!" She said as she was in awe of her accomplishment.
She looked at the shirt she pullout out. "Thats so pretty!"
She smiled and put the dress over her arm, following dani to the rack and looking at some stuff. "Thats a wonderful idea! And, i'm sure your in it, I mean, come on, you steal his pudding and lemonaide, that pretty much guarentee's you a place." She said with a laugh. She pulled out a simple maroon halter dress that went only a little longer than her knees. The bottom was semi pleated and a flared out a little, in a 40s/5s ish retro look. "Ohh, what do you think about this, good for a wedding?" She asked, she was never really sure, she always wanted to look nice, but, you can't really overdress, so that you took attention away from the bride.

"Oooh!" Dani said. "I like that. It'll look great! Let's go try these on!" she led the way to the dressing rooms and went in one, pulling her clothes off and putting the dress on. She studied it in the mirror and went out side to wait for Ver to see.

Veronica smiled. "Alright, sounds good." She said as she followed Dani to the dressing rooms. She changed into the silver one first, and looked in the mirror. She really liked the way it looked on her, so she grinned as she strode out of the room and found Dani. "Ooooh, I love that on you! You look drop dead gorgeous!" She said as she saw Dani's dress.

Dani gave a little twirl, grinning. "I love that one on you!" she gushed, nodding. "YOu look bloody gorgeous!" she sighed wistfully at a pair of shoes she had seen and went over to them, picking them up and slipping them on her feet. "It's hard to walk in four inch spike heels." she commented, teetering over to her friend.

Veronica smiled and did a little curtsey-like movement while laughing. "Why, thank you, thank you very much." She said as she spotted the shoes Dani was trying on. "Oh my, those are adorable! and...yes, a bit, well...unstable, but....maybe theres a charm for that?" She said in a laughing tone. She spotted a pair of white lace up in the front go-go boots and grinned. She put them on, and did her best 'groovy' look. "I just LOVE these! Their so different!" She said with a laugh.

Dani waved her wand behind her back, and a stableizing charm hit her shoes, making them much les tipsy. "Ooooh! Those are fabu!!" she giggled, looking at the other girl's shoes. "I'd /die/ for a metallic pair." she walked around the store, stopped by the owner. "Those are new, Miss Danielle, saved them for you. Thought you'd like them." Dani nodded.

Veronica laughed along with Dani as she began walking much less wobbly in the shoes. "Beautiful darling' She said in a drawling voice, then winked and smiled. "ooh, a metallic pair of these would look lovely! If I get these, you'll have to borrow them and do a charm on them to change the color, it would look amazing!" She said with a laugh. Veronica smiled as Dani got the 'special treatement' from the owner. "Those are so pretty!" She said as she admired the shoes they saved for Dani.
She went back to the changing room, tried on her other dress and walked out in a 'model-ish' way, while laughing. She liked the dress a lot. When she was done, she changed back into her clothes, and waited for Dani as she looked at the purses.
