Hogsmeade is pretty far from the Magid Accademy, but the accademy sends students on The Long Black Train once every month or so. Students are forbidden from useing their powers in Hogsmeade.

The students usually go for one whole day before returning to the accademy. They leave at seven in the morning, arrive at Hogsmeade around eleven AM, spend the day in Hogsmeade, board the train around six PM, and arrive back at the accademy around ten PM. Anyone not at the accademy by ten will be 'grounded' from going to Hogsmeade for the rest of that year. Anyone not on the train by six, but still makes it to the accademy will have detention every other Hogsmeade trip days and will be allowed to go to the other half of the Hogsmeade trips.

When at Hogsmeade, be on your best behavior, and if Hogwarts is there too, do NOT hassle them. Be curtious and respectful. The 'Heads' will keep an eye on you while you are at Hogsmeade, so behave or face the consequences!
