Hogwarts: The Next Generation

This is where you will find a full listing of all available canon characters, their husbands/wives, and their children. Parents are now available for RP - meaning that all must apply and make a character profile as normal. Some adults already have a general profile made up (for ex: Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ronald Weasley, etc.) and can be found in the A-Z Character Encylcepedia. Remember to act like the character normnally acts - Harry wouldn't cheat on his wife (well, not necessarily, but there would have to be so much build up), for example, and Hermione is not a whore. So don't make them that way! Also, some already have a job, so be sure to read their entry carefully and thoroughly. Check back periodically for more available characters. If there is a character listed that you wish to play, make a new account, post here to claim the character for up to three days, and create and post your character's profile.

The names are listed first; when you post your canon character's profile, you will have the option of giving the canon character a first name, which is the only thing besides the character's appearance that you may change. Following the name is the gender. After that is the House they belong in. The last thing listed is the character's current year. It assumed that if you are a 1st Year, you are 11, and if you are 7th Year you are 17, so no ages will be listed. An asterisk will follow any important information about the character, such as being twins, or having special abilities. If the child's name is in italics, they are a prefect, and already taken if in bold.

If the Admin approves, it will be posted on the board and an active member may then create a new account with that character's name. Simply post your name, the character you wish to reserve, and the information provided about the that character above (gender, House, and Year).

Have a character that you want not listed above but involves Canon Characters for parents? Then PM an Admin (Adana Phoenix or Saffron Kirke) with the information, and you may become part of the Canon List!

Yes, you can. You have three days to complete a Character Application. After the application has been accepted, your name will be changed to James Potter.

I'd like to reserve Lilly Luna Potter. Is that possible?

Yes, that would be possible. All you need to do now would be to create a character profile, and if it is accepted, your name will be changed to Lily Potter and you will take on that canon as your own.
