Venus moved, the blade in his hand dripped red as he sat there. In the middle of the woods, he doubted anyone would come find him.. Of course, this was just a silly though, considering who knows what or who would live out here..

But his hand moved, bringing the blade down once more.. There were marks from him trying to 'go down the street' so he'd properly bleed out, but each were barely an inch long.. He couldn't bring himself to actually do it...

But, that didn't stop the criss-crossing of marsk across his arms, not quite on his wrists, since as much as he wanted to just die, he couldn't bring himself to do it, he didn't know what was wrong with him.. A coward wanting it to end.. then a coward for not being able to go through with it.. She was right.. he was the worst kind of coward.

Ariella had been flying over the forest in her dragon form when she smelt blood. 'I know this scent...' She thought and flew down easily finding the source. She calmly walked up and growled. "Again?" she asked curiously and angry. Venus had never seen her dragon form so he probably didn't know who she was and her voice had gotten so much deeper since of course she was in dragon form.

Venus jumped, in his startlement dropped the blade, he turned frowning.. "who are you to come up to me like this?" he asked, leaning down, so his hand could find the blade.

Ariella chuckled. "Well you are in my lands so I have every right to come up to any trespassers..." She laying down so her eyes were level with his. 'I won't give up my secret just yet... of course he knows I own these lands as well as a few others...' She thought to herself but didn't let it show.

Venus frowned, taking a step bak, ignoring the fact he felt a bit light headed, of course he's been letting himself bleed out for awhile now. "Whats the.. big idea?" he asked softly.

Ariella sighed. "well you're so light headed at the moment that you probably wouldn't be able to figure it out..." she said and switched back into her human form and looked at him with her arms crossed. "Now just what in the hell do you think you're doing?" She asked quite angry at him at the moment. "Really? You really tried to kill yourself again?"

"W-wha?" he blinked a few times, surprised... "What... what are you doing?" he asked softly...

Ariella's arms tightened over her chest slightly in anger. "I believe I asked you a question first but if you must know I was just making sure my lands were okay... and I smelled a lot of blood... and I know your scent...' She said looking at him levely. "So why Venus? Why again?" She asked with an icy tint to her voice.

Venus was silent.. "I just.. I.." he wasn't sure to be honest... His head swam, and the world spun before he collapsed.

Ariella ran forward and caught him in her arms before he hit the ground. "Venus..." She said quietly.

Ariella had carrie Venus back to her home after she had stopped the bleeding. she then stitched up his arms to make sure that he didn't try anything stupid again. Being as old as she was she knew of a few herbs that helped with blood loss and she had brewed a tea with them and made him take them while he was still passed out. She had washed off his arms of blood and was gently badaging them now.

Venus stirred while she was bandaging his arm, blinking slowly.. He glanced to his arm, not sure.. He followed the others arms up to their face.. "Ariella?"

Ariella didn't glance up at him but her lips curved just slightly into a smirk. 'Welcome back to the land of the living..." she said as she finished and glanced at him.

Venus blinked slowly, looking at her.. he frowned lightly, but sighed, letting his head lay back once more, letting his eyes close.. "I couldn't do it again it seems.."

Ariella growled and slapped him hard across the face. "Only because I saved you... you ungrateful little whelp... stop trying to throw something that precious away..." she said getting up and walking out of the room.

Venus's head had turned from the force of the slap, but didn't move afterwards.. He just laid there, eyes opnly opening slightly.. "but why?" he asked softly to the now empty room... Why did she save him?
