 Traveling the Wood, Hikari <3

He was moving quietly, pausing now and then to pick up a certain herb or something else he was needing. He was pbasically a healer. A Human Mage. He wasn't necessarily the most powerful thing on earth, in fact he was probably far from it. But where he lacked strength, he had hell of a stamina. Where most mages would tire after using magic, he didn't seem to be affected by it. Prolonged use, yes it did tire him, but not to the point of passing out.

He continued his travel along the path, going off to check for certain plants, but he never lingered to far from the path, since he really didn't want to get lost in the woods..

When his satchel was decently filled, he went to the path once more, and started heading back to his village.. It wasn't a large village, a maximum of maybe 6 families, and a few random people who would stop for awhile before contiuing onto their next destination.

Fray never had an issue coming out into the woods, despite what the others said about the curse of it, and what not. Of course, he was the only one in the village with any magic, and the only one who didn't have Dark hair and dark eyes. He stuck out, when he first came here, no one trusted him, hell they were brutal to the strange new commer.

But after he's saved so many of their lives and everything, they've come to learn he's not there to cause them harm, and over time they came to trust him.

He heard a sound, and he turned, stopping in his steps. Blue eyes looking out about the woods.. He didn't see anything though... So he started to turn to head back again.

Kiba had been running for a while now. His back leg still hurt from getting shot with that arrow. 'Why are people always trying to kill me in this form...' He thought to himself as he stopped and panted lightly trying not to put too much pressure on his hurt leg. 'This isn't good... I need to find some one who can help me...' He thought as he smelled some one, some one very close. He crept closer and stepped on a twig causing said person to turn but the wolf had hidden himself pretty good. He sniffed slightly. 'Those are healing herbs in there... maybe... maybe he could help me... and he is kind of cute... bad Kiba... heal first sex later...' He thought as he slowly stepped from the bushes causing noises on purpose to make this person turn.

Another sound, and he turned once more, Fray's blue eyes soon landed on the figure that was near by, and approaching.. He watched for a moment, and noticed he was favoring a leg. Why, he couldn't see from where he was.. But, he slowly knelt, and held out a hand, since as far as the human male knew, this was just a wolf, "I wont hurt you" he stated softly, watching him..

Kiba's ear's perked forward as he said that. 'Hhmmm seems he doesn't know I'm not just a wolf... maybe this could work to my advantage...' He thought as he cautiously moved closer to the male in front of him. 'Odd... he smells of magic... but he also smells human...' He thought to himself. He looked back seeing the arrow still sticking out of his leg and he whimpered lightly.

Fray was silent as the other moved over, and he saw him look back and whined.. Fray slowly moved, standing once more, so he could walk around and see.. he tsk'd softly as he knelt once more, getting a good look at it... It didn't seem to have gone through any main arteries, but just to be safe.. "I can either take it out here, and patch it, and hopefully it'll be enough.. Or you can come back to my place with me and I can take care of it there?" he offered, not sure if the wolf would know what he was saying, but he still said it. Animals were smarter than one would think.

Kiba looked over at him and his ear's lowered at the sound of just taking it out here. Then when he asked about coming back to his place Kiba nodded. 'I'll let him heal me... then.... I'll reveal myself to him... and maybe... we could get a drink or something and talk ... I was always a sucker for blondes with blue eyes...' He thought as he waited for the other to lead the way.

Fray gave a nod, and moved, "First, here" he stated, shuffling through his bag, before he offered some leaves.. "It will help numb the pain.. It may take a bit of time to take affect, but it should be working by time we get back, so hopefully it wont hurt as much when I get it taken care of" he stated, the leaves held in his open palm. Hopefully he wouldn't get bitten...

Kiba blinked and looked at the leaves and used his tongue to take them off Fray's hand then chewed and swallowed. 'Blech... that was disgusting...' He thought trying to get the taste out of his mouth.

Fray blinked, but chuckled softly, "Ya.. they don't taste the best" he stated, offering him a mint leaf next, "Mint leaf, just for flavor" he stated softly, letting the wolf take that before he stood.. "Not often there's wolves this close to the village.. you must be far off from your pack" he commented softly as he walked, keeping his pace slow so the injured wolf wouldn't have to push itself.

Kiba gently took the mint leaf and chewed on it. When he said something about a pack Kiba shook his head. 'I don't have a pack... i don't need a pack and I don't want a pack...' He thought to himself easily walking next to Fray.

Fray rose a brow, but didn't comment on it.. .When the pair arrived at the village edge, he turned, he didn't live in village, they've come to trust him more, but he was not always openly welcome, so his home was at the edge of the village.. Once there, he opened the door, holding it open for the wolf, once inside, he shut the door, and took his satchel off from over his shoulder.. Walking into the 'kitchen' he set it down, pulling a few odds and ends from different places, and soon had an assortment of materials on his table.. He looked to the wolf.. "Think you could jump up.. Or want mt to lift you?" it'd make it easier for him to see what he was doing, with the better light above the table... He grabbed a few towles, and laid down a sheet over some blankets atop, so it'd be a bit more comfortable for the wolf.. He pulled the chairs back some, so he'd have room to move.

Kiba looked up at the table and after Fray had laid the towels down he jumped up easily and he laid down on his unhurt side so Fray could get to his hurt side easily. 'Well... I really do feel numb already...' He thought as he watched Fray to see what he's do.

Fray was mildly surprised he made the jump with his leg, but those herbs were probably kicked in.. He moved, a hand gently moving down the wolves leg, acessing where it was compared to muscles and arteries.. "If I'm right, I think it's just inbetween.." he muttered, more than to himself.. "Now, this will probably hurt even with the herbs I gave you... Try not to bite me?" he asked softly.

Kiba snorted lightly when Fray said that about being bitten. 'Humans I swear...' He thought as he laid his head down so he wouldn't watch. 'If I watch it'll hurt more...' He thought to himself.

Fray took a breath, well, hopefully he wouldn't bite.. He moved, snapping part ot the arrow, so it'd have less to have to go through, then, one handing holding the arrow, the other the leg, gave a swift pull, and soon as that was done, grabbed one of the towels and pressed it against the bleeding wound, while he got an antibiotic, it was rubbing alcohol actually, "This wll sting" he stated, pouring some right onto/in the wound, since dabbing it at it would of been pointless considering the wound went straight through.. He then moved, using some water to rinse it off the rest of the way, getting a damp cloth the gently wipe around it, so he could see the injury better. At least it was clean, the blood wasn't gushing, so his guess was right on not having any arteries hit.
