[Wodan]

Castle Masoukishin. It was a grand palace some would say. Ofcourse it was fitting for the royal family of La Gias to live in such a lavish place. But it was more then just the royal familys home. It was a place for diplomacy. A place of justice. Disputes between people of diffirent elements where settled here. Due to the kings more often then not unbiased views. Today was diffirent. The fact that Shu the purple haired child of the king was crown prince was well known. Today would be the first time he would do this job. And today they had presented him with what looked like an open and shut case. From one point of view at least.

Shu sighed abit as he waited though for it all to start. He was nervous and he was pasing back and forth. He knew what his duty would have him do. He was one who had always had some distain for conflicts. So this was making him nervous to have to settle a conflict where both parties could not be pleased most likely.

[Seiji]

Sho was good at staying out of sight and watching others, usually got him yelled at for 'sneaking up' on someone, not that he meant to in particular.. But now, he was watching his brother, and his pacing was getting on his nerves..

With a huff, he moved forward, reaching out a hand to take his brothers shoulder, "Hey, chill out brother" he stated gently, looking up ato his older brother.. He was taller than him.. He felt it was unfair, but it wasn't necessarily his fault he guessed... "You know what you're doing.. you've been taught all this stuff for like, ever"

[Wodan]

"Sho?" Shu said and let out a sigh of relief. "Yes I suppose your right. I shouldn't worry about this." He said and sighed. "Its not like its hard. Its just to hear out both sides right and then say what side I think is right." He said. Part of him envyed his younger brother. He was free so to speak. Free from all the things he had to do. All the expectations.

As they where talking one of the servants walked up to the king to be and his brother. "Shu-sama. The case has been prepaired and its ready for your review. There is not as many people as usual for this first time as per your mothers request." The woman said. Shu called all four of his fathers wife mother. It was something that was quite... Rare to say the least.

[Seiji]

Sho blinked but gave his brother a faint smile... But when the servant came, he sighed.. "You'll do find Shu." he stated softly..

[Wodan]

"Thank you Nia. Oh and Sho. Thanks." He said as another thing he did was he called all of the servants by first name... Something that was still causing some of the female staff to blush. Nia was no exception of this. Still Shu headed towards the chamber where it was gonna take place.

[Seiji]

Sho gave his brother a faint nod, and watched him walk off.. He sighed softly.. He didn't know what he was suppose to do.

[Wodan]

Nia looked at Shoren. "Shoren-sama. I do belive that Shu-sama would appreciate you being there for him even if just in the background as moral support." She said as she watched Shus little brother.

[Seiji]

Sho blinked. "oh.. okay.." he stated softly, a bit surprised, but he moved, heading the way his brother went.

[Wodan]

Shu was sitting in a chair as he sighed he looked abit... Bored as two people entered the chamber from what Sho could see from where he was. The two that was bound to present that case that was gonna be wolfs first to settle.

[Seiji]

Sho stayed quiet from where he stood out of the way, and pretty much out of sight, granted he was good at that.

[Wodan]

And then the pretty much open and shut case entered. Two people. One man and one woman. The woman was carrying a child that showed animal traits. Like herself as the man had none of those.

The man who was a somewhat respectable trader but unmarried looked at Shu. "Ah my lord. This should be quick. This woman claims that this... Abomination of a child is mine. While we did have intercourse I'll admit that. I say the child is not mine. Now if you'll just say the word so this conflict can be over I'm tired of really having to hear this none power girl speak." The man said.

Shu stood up as he walked over towards them. "Are you implying that you know my duty better then I?" He asked the man before he looked at the woman. "Please. I wish to hear your side of the story aswell." Shu said as this caused some shock among the people in the room.

((Yeah this is basicly the first time hes showing that he has no problem with equality. At least to the public.))

[Seiji]

Sho tensed.. His brother was asking for it.. He bit his bottom lip, but stayed put, if anyone tried anything, he would defend his older brother.

[Wodan]

The woman explained that she had only had intercourse with the man and that he was the only one. Even showing proof from a divination that showed she had only been in bed at one point in her life. This agitated the merchant some though. "My lord please this is fake obviously. The woman only wishes for my fortune!" He said.

Shu looked at the woman closely. "What is it that you wish for? Easier time for you to take care of your child until he reaches adulthood?" Shu asked as the woman nodded. As Shoren could hear most mumbled that it was an outrangous request.

Shu meanwhile had walked up to his seat and he sat down thinking. "I have not come to a desiction. But rather. A sugestion." Shu said as that was strange some people muttred. Shu was supposed to settle this conflict and most where speaking clearly in favor of the merchant.

[Seiji]

Sho blinked, watching... Not sure what his brother was going to suggest.

[Wodan]

"You have two choises as far as I can see. Either A. You pay the costs to take care of the childs expenses and just those expenses. Or B. You dont, though this will cause a few things. I'll make sure to pay for those expenses through the royal tressurey. And I'll sugest a certain tax raise that will cause the payments you'll make to this woman to seem like well... Trivial costs." Shu said as everyone was alittle shocked. Shu had taken the side of the... Woman... This case was set up as an open and shut case with the merchant in favor...

The merchant glared at Shu. "I'll chose neither! This is an outrage how can you stand up for that... that THING!" He said as Shu glared at him as his legs gave out under him. The gravity was localised only to the man.

Shu meanwhile walked up towards him. "Your testing my patience. Not however with you not wanting to chose. But rather with your words. This woman is NOT a THING. Neither is anyone else that lacks any sort of elemental abilities. They are living and breathing sentient beings. Like you or me. Now have I made myself clear?" He asked.

"Sire let him go." The woman said as Shu looked at her abit confused. "Are you sure about this?" He asked her as they had talked abit privatly. "Very well." He said as he had stoped the localised gravity. "Your lucky she spoke on your behalf." He said to the merchant as he sighed. "You do not need to pay for any of the childs livelyhood nor will my secound choise be put into motion." Shu said before he walked off with everyone talking and gosiping about what caused Shus change of heart though the merchant seemed quite happy. Shu on the otherhand from what Sho could see. Not so much. He looked furious.
